"Mummy!" My little seven year old daughter squeals, "Harper isn't giving me my doll back."
She has beautiful blue eyes and chocolate brown hair just like me and perfect sculpted nose resembling her fathers. "Amber! Its christmas eve stop fighting with your sister and tell your brother to get ready, dad will be back soon." I say to my daughter.
"Okay! But that idiot never listens to me." She groans. "Language Amber. That idiot is your elder brother, respect him." I scold. She nods, running upstaires towards his room.
Amber always reminds me of Cruz. I still remember that day we spent together on beach.
*Flashback Starts*
"Get hell out of here!" I groan into my pillow. It is a bright sunny day in Boston and I was comfortably sleeping untill this jerk showed up. I shifted my head away from the voice.
"It's time to get up in the morning, in the morning. Got McDonalds breakfast for you!" He shouted. "Did you just quote Niall from one direction?" I squealed, throwing a pillow at him.
"I drove two miles to get it. So you have to get up and eat it. You lazy child, you crazy girl. Don't be selfisish." He continues to sing.
"Cruz! Count this as warning, one more word and you are dead." I warned him, wrapping the comforter around me tighter
"So you got to get up, time to get up
You gotta get up, its time to get up
Its time to get up, its time to get up, its time to get up!"Suddenly I felt the other side of my bed dipped. He was now on my bed, Cruz was jumping on my bed.
Enough is enough! This jerk has the audacity to ignore my warning. "What are you, a four year old?" I shouted, shoving his leg. With the sudden jolt he trembled and landed straight on me.
His weight all over me, his lips brushing my cheeks. "I know you can't resist me," he smirked in victory, the spawn of Valak smirked.
"I hate you!" I stated, shoving him off me. "My little damsel in distress, you know you love me." He pulled me up.
"What do you want?" I folded my arms, looking at him. He woke me up, there must be a good explanation to this.
"I have plans for today but first get ready," he pushed me inside the bathroom and passes me my clothes.
I came out of the bathroom, raising my brows at him. "We are going to the beach." He stated, delightfully. "Okay, and what makes you think I will go with you?" I frowned.
"Can't you just act like a love-struck bird? Let's go, we are getting late." He said pulling me down to his car.
