I'm going to be doing short chapters, I hope you enjoy!!!:))

The school that I was to be enrolled into was called Abbey High School. It was only a fifteen-minute drive away from my house. I use to go past it with my mum when we were driving from place to place. I was very curious; always wondering what was beyond those big, metal gates. My life has always been different in comparison to the lives of others. We moved from country to country; travelling around the world. This was mainly due to my father's business, but I always knew there was a part of my parents that lived in fear. They constantly worried about what I was growing into. The way I'm describing myself makes me seem like some sort of monster, which, I guess I was in some sense, but not your typical one.

When we were living in Bali, Thailand, I was fifteen. I remember going to the beach one day with my father. We were walking along the shore when I noticed a group of girls approaching us. They stopped dead in their tracks- right in front of me, just staring. One of the girls began to speak.'We came to see if the rumors were true. You really are like an angel.'

Each girl was truly mesmerized- it was like they couldn't understand that I was a living being- no different from them. From that day on, we had numerous people follow us again and again. People asked for photos with 'the living angel.'

I knew I was different. Things about me were changing rapidly. I began to worry as much as my parents did. I felt like I couldn't control how I was- how the world viewed me. They could never see past my looks. My beauty was one thing, but other things kept happening that I kept secret. My parents wary of something, but never sure of what- it was a mystery. From a young age, I could almost feel people's thoughts. It sounds unreal, but I could. If I concentrated hard enough, I could see a slight glow coming from each person; all different colors. Some glows that people carried were darker than others, while others were lighter. When meeting a person, I automatically knew how they felt. When approaching somebody with a darker glow, I could feel the pressure release from that person; like I gave them a feeling of comfort. People we always so drawn to me.

Before my granny died, the words she spoke in life haunted me to this day. She whispered things into my mother's ear that made it seem as though she'd seen an army of the undead before her. I could sense my mother's discomfort. I loved my granny; she would often tell me exciting stories about the woman I would become. She, too, was quite like me, but never as powerful or beautiful, she would say. She was a very spiritual woman- very much into the afterlife and always telling people creepy stories about something or other. She told me that one day, I would meet someone who was the complete opposite of myself, and that I would love this person like no other. I was destined to do great things.
