Before the dawn of time there was a special moment. I must tell you the story, so you may understand time itself.
Sharlet’s aunts ancestry goes as far back as a Queen named Saira, but across the sea was a king named Pan. Pan had a huge kingdom that reached as far as the kalameon’s sea. Kalameon’s sea was just north of Laina, and south of Pan’s kingdom at the time. Pan’s kingdom was called Kairl Vexen it was the opposing opposite kingdom. The queen of Laina, Saira, was a widow. She had just given birth to her only child she'd ever have without a new king. Kairl Vexen was a kingdom with only a king. Pan’s father had no rein on the kingdom, but he arranged the marriage, so each side could intertwine. Pan though, had fallen in love with a maiden girl named linda. She didn't care about having the throne, but having Pan. Pan refused the marriage to Saira, and married his true love, leaving Laina a kingdom in disparity. That night there was an eclipse and all the moon and sun powers were given to the queen, but she gave them back to the spirit in a request to give it to the one who may need it most, and indeed the spirit did a thousand years later to a princess named Sharlet.
So, now we use AE to mark the years ‘After Eclipse’. So technically Den, Jake, Dalal, and I were born in 2253 AE. Now, this information may be useful later, but for now let's continue where we are.
We trudged on through the woods and spotted what looked like a small abandoned cabin.
“Thank goodness! I thought were we're going to stuck walking forever!” Dalal spoke exasperated.
“Yeah, but we're home!” Jake flopped onto the ground so he was sitting.
“How should we remember this moment?!?” I squealed.
“When my parents got married they celebrated by getting a pet that they could both share and call their own.” Den suggested.
“But where do you find a pet?” Dalal exaggeratedly took in a huge breath and moaned it out.
“How about a worm?” I smiled while reaching down to grab a small worm.
“They do live up to eight years!” Jake added.
“Ewww…” Dalal poked it, “what's his name?”
“Tod?” Den threw the name in out of the blue.
     “Seriously?” Jake asked.
“It fits Tod fine.” I concluded.
We all pet Tod and knew that he was our new representation of our forever lasting friendship.
It's been four hours, we did nothing but played around with our pet worm, Tod. It was a good thing we kept the pet in a most area so I didn't die.
“How long are we gonna stay here?” Dalal asked, “are we going to stay here until tomorrow morning?”
“No, we’re just going to stay here until our clothes dries. The kidnappers will find us if we spend the night here.” Jake answered.
“Then where are we going to sleep, you know I'm pretty worn out from what just happened a few hours ago.”
“We’ll find a place somewhere in the forever-deep forest.”
“The forever-deep forest?” Dalal said confused, “do you mean the forest where once you go in you can never go out?”
“Yep and don't worry, loon scarlet will show us the way out once we enter the forest.”
“Who's loon scarlet?” Dalal and I asked.
“What do you mean? You know loon right Dalal?” Jake answered confused, “she's is my familiar fairy, you don't know her?”
Dalal shook her head and right when Jake was about to speak the door opened. We all panicked and huddled into the corner of the room. Jake quickly grabbed out a pocket knife and pointed it at the person.
“Ahh! Please don't hurt me!” A girl said as she used her arms to cover her head.
“Alice! Are you ok!?” A little boy yelled out, “what happened?” He then looked at us in a corner.
“Big sis! please don't take my sis away!” A younger boy hid behind his sister and pleaded, “please don't take my sis away, she's all I have left!”
“W-who are you kids?” I asked, “we're not going to hurt you, we were the scared ones.”
“Scared? But he’s the one that pointed the knife at Alice.” The boy said, “so why are you scared?”
Jake put down his knife and walked up to them. They all stepped back, but the older boy went in front to protect the both of them. Jake crouched down to see him face to face. He sighed and stood back up.
“Sorry if we scared you.” He apologized, “you're a brave kid, someday you'll protect the ones you love.”
“Huh? What do you mean?” The boy asked.
“I can possibly see you as a young knight.” Jake smiled, “I have faith in you in the future.”
“I should probably introduce myself.” Jake suggested, “I'm Jake shard, it's a pleasure to meet you and you are?”
“I-I'm brad linger, this little guy here is Daniel and that's Alice.” He introduced, “as you can tell they are brother and sister so please don't separate them.”
“Uh hey den?” Dalal whispered, “why is Jake doing that?”
“What do you mean? You know it's his way of avoiding big problems right?” Den answered.
“No, I didn't know that.” She responded.
“I'm guessing that, THAT strategy doesn't work often.” I mentioned, “but it's kinda nice of him to do it in a kind way.”
“But isn't it bad to reveal who we are?” Dalal asked, “I mean what if they work with the kidnappers?”
“Why would you think that?” I asked, “the little guy said that she's all he has left and look at their clothes, it's all dirty and they're not eating properly. Just look how skinny they are.”
Jake took out a water bottle that he managed to get before the rest was swept away. He gave it to the little kids and smiled.
“It's ok you can have it, there are two water bottles so you can have this one.” Jake insisted, “you're from the frigate village right?”
“Uh yes, that's right.” Daniel answered, “why? Do you know that place?”
“Know that place? I lived there before it was attacked.” Jake responded a little bit uneasy, “can you tell me where it is? I'd love to see it again even though it was attacked.”
“Sure, it's over the-” Den covered his mouth and Jake took the other two in and covered their mouths too.
Their voices were muffled and they stopped when den shushed them harshly. The kids didn't know what was going on until they heard dogs barking and people shouting.
“Already!?” Den yelled out quietly, “you kids be quiet or else you'll get taken away ok?”
They nodded and they let go of their mouths. I looked at them and put one finger on my mouth. I whispered to them on what they should do.
“Ok you guys don't make any sounds ok?” I questioned, “we'll break down this wall before they come in here and when we do, run in the forever-deep forest ok? Don't worry Dalal and I will stay with you guys along the way”
We all broke the wall, luckily the cabin was really old. They kidnappers heard the loud sounds of the wall fall to the ground. We all rushed down the river to reach the forest. Some were shooting guns at us and it seemed like they don't want us hurt, but they don't care about the kids. One bullet was coming towards brad and den was able to push him aside but there was another one coming straight at Daniel.
       “Daniel! Get down!” Jake shouted.
Daniel was too frightened that he couldn't do anything but look at the bullet coming straight for him.
Suddenly a shield formed in a blink of an eye. The bullet was bounced back and it hit the ground. Jake grabbed Daniel when he tripped. The shield faded when Jake grabbed him.
“What was that!?” Den asked out loud.
“Let's not worry about that, we should focus on running instead!” Jake shouted back.
“Jump in the river!” I suggested.
“WHAT!?” Everyone yelled out, “we are NOT doing that again ayane!” Dalal answered.
“Just trust me!” I shouted, “come on, if this keeps up then we'll never make it to the forest and it's obvious that they don't want to hurt us! They don't care if they hit the kids!”
“Fine then!” Den agreed, “there is no other choice! Jake take Alice and Daniel. I'll take brad!”
“Will you guys be okay on your own!?” Jake asked worried.
“Don't worry, if we're not back then come get us!” I answered
“Ok then, if you insist.” Jake responded, “take a deep breath kids!”
Jake and den hopped in the river and let themselves get swept away by the strong current. Dalal jumped in and I kept running and then I stopped. I turned around and placed my hands out.The necklace started to glow, magic started to swirl all around me. I stopped and put my hands down. I stepped back a little then I heard a gun fire. It gave me a deep cut on my right arm. I looked at my arm then looked back at the kidnappers. The necklace started glowing and a blast came out and it hit them.
