Chapter 14: Healing Myself

Sam's POV:

Ow! Fucking hell, my bloody head hurts so damn much. I tried opening my eyes but it was like I had weights on them. The more I tried, the more it hurts so I just have up.

"Sam?" That sounds like Jake... He's here.

"Jake where are you? Where am I?" I asked

"I'm right next to you, you got in a car accident were in hospital." He said slowly "can you open your eyes?" He asked

"No it hurts alot" I used my arm to feel my way around. I felt Jake laying next to me on my left. I hugged him my holding onto his shoulder using my right arm. I leaned into his chest and he kissed my head. I need to see him. I need to open my damn eyes!

So I tried to open my eyes. They creaked open a little bit. I could see white. I tried to fight the pain. Just do it once and you don't have to do it again. I listened to my inner voice. My eyes got blinded by all the light. But soon I adjusted them. I was attached to some weird machines.

I looked at my left to see Jake. His hair was all ruffled up. Even when he's still half asleep, he's sexy.

I leant in to kiss his lips after so long. We both shut our eyes. Our lips were moving in a sync. He moved his arm to my waist and I put my arm around his neck. If only we were standing and not in a hospital.

I opened my eyes, I needed to see his face again. But when I opened my eyes, I saw something unexpecting... His hair was turning shiny along with mine. Without stopping our kissing, I tapped on his shoulder, he immediately opened his eyes.

He looked as shocked as I was. He stopped and we both took deep breaths. "How is that possible!?!" He said

"I donno" I said

"No, no, no, can it be?" He asked himself

"What? Tell me" I asked eagerly.

"You already know I'm an alien, right?"

"Yeah you told me"

"This is gonna sound extremely weird but I think you're an alien like me too....."

"What?! How?!"

"When two aliens from my planet are in love and they kiss passionately....their hair turns shiny and it glows"

"But you said that you were the only survivor"

"That's what I thought!"

"Kiss me" I ordered

"Ok"

We started kissing. Sam, think. Find your past. Suddenly I started having flashbacks.

Flashback:

"Mummy, what's going on?" I asked my mum

Our spaceship was rocking back and forth and kept making beeping sound.

My mum kissed me on the forehead "don't worry, everything's ok" she told me.

Suddenly everything stopped working and our ship crashed. I was holding my mummy's and daddy's hand. I was so scared.

My best friend was also with his parents. He's my been my best friend forever!

Everyone was leaning back and forth. When the ship stopped rocking, we got out. As soon as we got out. One by one, we got shot by humans with weird guns.

I saw my best friend, he made it out and ran. But I didn't do what he did. I followed my parents. I saw them get shot, in front if my eyes.

I walked out. Then I remembered. I have a special power too heal my self. I walked and got shot. Breathe, breathe, breathe.

Soon, the humans left. They took most of my family but left some and said they would come again to get them. I slowly healed myself. The bullet that was in my chest was now gone.

I ran as if my life depended on it. But I got hit in the head by something very sharp and hard. I lost my memories.

My new parents found me and took me in.

End Of Flashback

I pulled away from Jake and took a long deep breath "did you see that?" I asked him.

"See what? I was paying attention to the kissing" he chuckled

"I remember...." I said to him

"What happened? How are we from the same planet?"

"I'm the best friend you saw getting shot... I healed myself. But then I got hit in the head and forgot everything." I told him

He hugged me as if he would die if he let go. "You can heal yourself" he told me "you can get out of here right now, Sam."

"I donno how..." I said sadly

"Pay attention to where the pain is, and feel it slowly healing up." He said

I did as he said. I payed attention to my head. I tried to make it get better but it wasn't working. "Ugh Jake it's not working"

"We can try again later" he told me

I smiled at him. "I'm glad we found each other again."

"Me too" he said

We were about to kiss but then I asked "how do we kiss, without making out hair go shiny?"

"Before we kiss, just say in your head that you don't want the hair to shine and it won't." Easy enough

Hair, don't shine!

Then I leaped for Jake's lips. He kissed me back passionately. Jake got on top of me. I put my arms around his neck and kept kissing him. He means the world to me. I went for his hair and started playing with it. I could feel him smiling on my lips...

Suddenly, the doors opened and a nurse came in. Me and Jake pulled apart "Uh, um sorry" she said and then left.

We couldn't help but to laugh. "Guess we got too carried away" Jake said as he wriggled his eyebrows.

We were touching foreheads. I was stopping myself from kissing his lips. I smiled. I can't believe I'm an alien.

"I wanna run away with you" he whispered in my ear

"Maybe, we should" I replied

He looked I'm my eyes "do you really want to... We can" he said excitedly

"I do!" I said loudly in his ear.

"First you gotta get better."

I closed my eyes. Focus Sam, focus. I focused my my head and imagined it getting better. Soon, I could feel it getting better. Now for the leg. Ok I just need the pain to go away and the bone to be fixed. No pain, no pain. Soon the leg was fixed and the pain was gone too!

I opened my eyes "I did it" I whispered "I did it!" I exclaimed

Jake got off me. I unplugged all the useless devices off me. I took the bandage off my head.

Jake got the cast off my leg. I stood up. Soon I got my balance. I went to the bathroom and changed back into my normal clothes. We went to the front desk "Sam Kirk-Son is checking out" I said and then walked off.
