Chapter 21: I Need Her And She Needs Me

Jakes POV:

I opened my eyes. Where am I? I was in an apartment. My head was resting on the pillow. There was someone on my bare chest and I smiled. Sam.

I couldn't see her face. I slowly got up cause I really needed to pee. I got Sam's head off... But it wasn't her. It was Clara!

I jumped out of the bed. I wasn't ever wearing any pants, just my boxers. Holy shit oh fuck oh fuck what have I done?!

I saw my clothes laying in the floor and quickly put on my pants and my T-Shirt.

Sam?? Where are you?

I asked Sam telepathically.

Don't talk to me!

Sam was sobbing. What happened yesterday? Why am I with Clara?!

I quickly teleported back to Gaston hoping that Sam would be there but she wasn't. So I decided to go to our treehouse.

Where'd she go?

What the fuck? I wanna teleport to Sam because I need her! I repeted in my head over and over again but it was no use. Where could she have gone? What would I do if I was in her position? Who am I kidding she would know that would be the first question I ask myself.

I'm not worth being her boyfriend if I made her this upset that she won't talk to me!

Sam! Talk to me!

I said to her telepathically. No answer.

I need to see her! I need to see Sam! I closed my eyes and leaned against the oak tree behind me. This was the place where we had our first kiss. All of a sudden something happened and I saw Sam. I kept my eyes shut wanting to see more of her. I saw her sitting on a beach, her back leaned against the palm tree and her legs pulled up to her chest as she sat there and cried her heart out. I need to be there for her! I need to get there! She needs me. And I need her.

Think Jake think. Where could she have gone!? Suddenly it struck me... Amanda? Maybe she talked to Amanda. I quickly teleported to Amanda's house and knock on the door unpatiently. Finally what felt like forever, someone opened the door. It was her dad. "Hello, is Amanda home?" I asked trying not to show any shakiness in my voice because of Sam.

"Yes she is in her room, up the stairs second door to your left" he said as he moved out of the way so I could enter.

"Thankyou" I said as I walked inside. Without waisting any time I went up the stairs skipping 2 steps each time. When I got to her room I knocked on the closed door.

"I'm coming" She said from inside. I waited... again, until she opened the door. Her eyes widedned to see me. I guess I should've been expecting that, I mean I've been away from Gaston for like a month with no trace.

"JAKE?!" she question and yelled. "Where've you been? And Sam? Oh my God I have so many questions! Come in and explain everything!"

I followed her into her room and sat on a chair in the corner while she sat on the bed oposite me. This feels like timeout from friggin preschool!

"Ok Jake.." she started quietly "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU AND SAM BEEN!?! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I GOT!?" Yeah I kinda expected her to break out like that.. typical Amanda

I sighed "You're right, you deserve to know the truth... but I can't tell you without Sam being here... And I'm pretty ysure you can see that shes not here." I said slowly

"Well then call her" She said it like it was so damn easy.

I got my phone out of my pocket. Oh did I forget to mension that me and Sam had to go through so many different dumpters and shit to find two working phones. Why would anyone throw them out in the first place?

"That's not your phone" Amanda said

"I know" I said quietly "Me and Sam had to find phones because the kidnappers took ours" Is that too much information? Nah she doesnt know that were fucking aliens.

Sam I need you to come here right now... I'm with Amanda

I said to Sam telepathically. She wont ever talk to me anyway so there no use.

"YOU GOT KIDNAPPED?!" she exclaimed

"Yeah but we escaped" I said flatly

Any minute now Sam

I said to Sam again.

"Well... call Sam, I need to talk to her." She said

"She's..... She's with her mom" I said trying to find an excuse as I rubbed the back of my head.

"Seriously? Jake I know you're lying" Amanda said

I sighed in defeat. "we.... broke up" I said, not beliving the words I just spoke.

Jake doesn't remember what happened! 😱 And now he has to explain everything to Amanda, at this moment, only Sam can save the day!
