Rian hang gotten any sleep since her mom told her that Rian's grandma has brain cancer. She has been thinking about it for three days now. She has been calling her grandma everyday. She doesn't want to loose her. This weekend, Rian and her family is taking a trip to Alabama to see her grandma. They already are packing and Rian hasn't said a word to her mom or dad for three days. It's Saturday morning and they are on their way to the airport. Rian hasn't been on an airplane in a long time, so she has to get used to it again. "Rian, I know you are mad at us. But please at least talk. You haven't said a single word since I've told you the news about grandma," Said her mom. Rian looks at her mom with a very indescribable look. "You want to know why I haven't said anything for three days. It's because I found out that my grandma is dying and I can't do anything about it! She is my best friend and you kept it from me!" Rian starts to cry. Her mom tries to comfort her but Rian pushes her away. The fight is over and Rian is walking in front of her parents. Her mom gives her dad a sad look. They call a cab and sit in silence. Rian is getting excited to see her grandparents. When they arrive at their house, Rian runs inside. Her grandpa stands up and gives her a big hug. "Where's grandma?" Rian asked confused. Her grandpa, Ron, looks at her with a serious look. "She is actually in the hospital," said Rian's grandpa. Rian started blankly into his eyes. "Are you serious!?" Her parents tell her to calm down. Rian starts to have a panic attack. Then... She... Blacks... out!
