A month after her mother had left on her vacation she comes back with news that will bring the family together but also tear it apart. She was going to be a big sister. While everyone else was happy and hugging her mom all she could think was "great just one more reason for everyone to ignore me". Her mom could tell that she wasn't herself. She went up to her and grabbed her by the hands, she looked her in the eyes and that's when it happened she lost it. All the pent up anger and sadness finally seeped through her almost as if she was a sand castle built right next to the ocean, though she didn't say anything she knew her mother understood. The next day when she woke up she took a deep breath and, wait what's that smell? Bacon and chocolate chip pancakes? Her mother could tell she was upset the night before so she made sure that when her beautiful little angel woke up that morning she would have her favorite foods for breakfast, bacon, chocolate chip pancakes, homemade french toast, and freshly squeezed orange juice. As she began to walk down the steep stairs that she almost always fell on she smiled as the citrus flavors and sweet smells filled the air. But when she got to the kitchen it wasn't just her mother, it was her whole family.
