"You're so weird," one of the other kids scoffed, "why do you always describe things with colors?"
Josh just looked down at his feet. Tears formed in his eyes and dripped onto the floor."I hate school," Josh said suddenly, while talking to his best friend Chris, "it's always black red, and I hate it."
Chris rubbed a hand against Josh's back, "I'm sure it will get better," he said.
They were in their treehouse, Josh was hugging his knees up to his chest, Chris sat next to him, trying to comfort him.
"Do you think I should be normal?" Josh asked.
"No, I don't. You should just be who you are, because I like who you are," Chris replied.
Josh smiled and leaned into Chris a little, resting his head on Chris' shoulder.
"I'm always here for you," Chris said.
Josh's smile got even bigger, "Thanks," he said. When they finally went back home, it was dinner time. Josh was afraid he would get into trouble. But Chris assured that he would be fine.
Josh entered his home. The ambiance was different. Like green, but also yellow with a little bit of blue.
He went straight to his room after walking in. He didn't want to be noticed by his mom, despite the warm feeling he had. When he got to his room, he immediately laid in his bed, not wanting to eat. The soft sheets slowly helped him drift to sleep.
