Luckily, the next day was Saturday. Josh sat at his desk, drawing butterflies like he usually did. Colored pencils scattered over the desk, earbuds in his ears. The colors mixing and swirling together as he listened to his favorite song. His messy raven hair hung loosely over his face as he colored.
His phone vibrated, so he picked up his phone to see the notification. It was a text from Chris.
Hey! Come to the treehouse! I wanna show you something!
Josh smiled with C major lips as he lightly tapped on the keyboard to reply.
Okay, I will be there in five.
Josh took his earbuds out and turned off his music. Then opened his window, and climbed out.
