I was walking into the theatre at Bendy's request. Bendy was sitting on the stage staring dreamily at a toon girl that was straddling his lap. His sweet goofy laugh echoed as she kissed him.
"Hey Sarah!" he called me over.
"You wanted to see me?"
"Yeah, I wanted you to meet my girlfriend Luma"
"G-girlfriend?"
"Yeah? What's the matter?"
"Nothing" I looked away.
"You didn't think that I actually liked you, did ya?"
I was silent. Those words stung like needles in my chest.
"Hahaha, that's funny! Why would anyone love you? If your father loved you, then why didn't he try calling? You're worthless, useless, and I could have cared less if you died the day you foolishly came back here"
"Bendy, you don't mean that, do you?"
"Goodbye Sarah" he growled.
With a snap of his fingers, the floor disappeared out from under me. I fell into nothingness.
[Nightmare over]
I jolted up in my bed. Sweat and tears scrolled down my skin.
I crawled out from under my covers and walked over to Cup's cot.
Cuphead's pov
I woke up to the sound of whimpers and sniffling. A hand shook my arm unexpectedly.

Beside me was Sarah. She was crying and shaking like crazy.
"Sis, what's wrong?" I whispered.
"I had a nightmare. Can I sleep with you?"
I couldn't say no to her when she's this upset.
"Of course, c'mere kiddo" I pulled her onto the cot with me and Mugs.
She curled up to my chest, her arms gently wrapped around my chest.
I'm not sure what would upset her so badly.
Mugs stirred slightly before sitting up to look at me as I held the now sleeping girl.
"What's going on? Is she okay?" he asked with a concerned tone.
"She had a nightmare. A bad one at that. She was so upset by it"
"So she came to you for comfort?"
"Yeah" I rubbed her back.
"Poor girl" he ran his hand through her hair.
We both started humming the tune to greensleeves. I remember hearing her sing it while she worked.
