"Hey mom hey dad" they looked worried "Is everything ok?"I asked nerviously "Sam we were worried sick you said you would be back by 12 and it's 1,where were you?" "I'm sorry mom I guess I just lost track of time and I also had to take Stephanie home" I had to lie for the both us I didn't want her parents finding out and I also didn't want to get into trouble. "Ok we're sorry for over reacting but you should go to bed now" "ok goodnight mom and dad" I ran to my room ready to start crying I shut my door and went into my bathroom and I started crying nonstop I didn't even know why I couldn't stop or why I was, I walked out of my bathroom and went to my bed I charged my phone and went to

sleep. The next day I woke up not wanting to get up it was Sunday so that meant I had to go to Stephanie house and have a girls day it's was like a tradition we've been doing that since 7th grade we have never missed a day I called her and ask her if we can have it at my house today and she knew something was wrong and she said "I'm coming right now" before I can tell her no she had already hung up. I got up and went to my closet I put a pair of ripped jeans on with a pink crop top and my white converse I went to the kitchen and made myself some oatmeal I knew I wasn't going to eat it so I just saved it for Stephanie,

the door bell rang and I went to the door and opened it I was in shock "what are you doing here g- Grayson" he scratched the back of his head and smiled "Hi to you to Sam"  I laugh "uh sorry I just wasn't expecting you I thought you were Stephanie" I said to myself keep it together Sam, "yeah sorry I should have texted you" "it's ok um do you want to come in" "yeah sure" he walks in and looks around "you have a really nice place"  I smile and say "thanks" "so I wanted to talk about yesterday"  I stopped for a second and I couldn't move then he says " it's about Stephanie" I felt relieved but at the same time I was confused "what about Stephanie?"

"Ethan told me that when he was looking for her he found her with Jake but he was pushing against a wall trying to take her and Ethan pulled him away and took her home" I felt so sick why would anyone do that  to anyone that's just sick, i can tell that Grayson knew what I was feeling so he gave me a hug and he didn't let go I didn't know there was such thing as a really good hug it was honestly one of the best hugs anyone has ever given me I let go and I slightly smiled and I said "thank you for telling me" "no problem I thought that you should know that's all" "well thank you so much it really means a lot" "Yeah of course, anyways I should probably get going now" "yeah ok I'll see you around then" "yeah and Sam" "yeah?" " you look beautiful today" I smile and say "thank you and you don't look to bad yourself" he laughs and I close the door behind me and the door bell rings and I open thinking it was him but it was Stephanie "hey what was alk that about" she said while smiling,

I wasn't sure if I should tell her what he told me because I didn't know how she would react so I just said " I left something at the party last night so he came to drop it off" oh ok, so what's wrong I can tell that you were sad on the phone earlier?" " I just, I don't know when Ethan took you home grayson came to comfort me and he touched my thigh and you know me I ran our because he's like all the other guys and I don't want to hurt him" she looked at me and said " just because some guys uses you doesn't mean that they have completely changed you I mean if they did then you wouldn't have feelings for Grayson but you do and it doesn't mean your completely ready for a relationship you just need to take it slow" "yeah you're right maybe I'm wrong maybe he was just trying to be nice".

We went to my room after and we watched a few movies after we decided to go to the mall because we didn't have anything better to do we took my car we first went to Pink to look for swim suits for a pool party Stephanie wants to have with all the seniors at her house I'm kinda worried because what if Jake goes and tries to do something to her again, We grab a bunch of swim suits to try on we ended up with 2 piece swim suits Stephanie's is an all red one and mine is a floral print after we talk to Lush to face masks while walking there we see Ethan and Grayson I try my best to avoid them but they see us and walk up to us Stephanie says "hey guys" Ethan smiles at her and says "hey I didn't know you guys were here" Grayson nudges him and says "Ethan this is the mall everyone comes here, sorry she's a bit stupid sometimes" I laugh and say "it's ok I get it Stephanie is the same way at times to" "so where you guys going?" Grayson says while smiling at me and scratching the back of his head Stephanie blurts out "we were just gonna go eat, wanna come?"

Then Ethan says "yeah sure, what do you think Gray?" He smiles and says "well as long as it's ok with Sam" I look at him and I say "of course it's ok with me" we go to a pizza place that's all the way on the other side of the mall I walk with Grayson and Stephanie walks with Ethan. Grayson asks " I don't know why I've never talked to you" I smile and say " Yeah why haven't you" " I honestly don't know but your really cool and I should have started talking to you along time ago" "well I'm glad that we are now" he smiles at me and then I heard Stephanie say loudly "What the fuck why didn't anyone tell me" me and Grayson look at eachother because we already know what she's talking about I turn around and she says "did you know Sam, did you know what Jake did to me at that party last night?" I finally say "Stephanie I just found out earlier when Grayson came to my house,

I didn't want you to find our this way I'm sorry I wasn't there for you and I'm sorry for not telling you I just didn't know how to tell you" looked at me and she said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell I'm not mad at you I'm mad at Jake for trying to take advantage of me and I just took all my anger on you and Ethan" she walls towards me and hugs me I hug her back Ethan and Grayson just stand there not knowing what to do so me and Stephanie kinda giggle about it and we let go of our hug and we continue to walk but now all 4 of us in a row.

When we get to the pizza place I sit with Stephanie and the twins sit across from us, after being there for an hour we decide to leave Ethan and Grayson walk us back to my car I give Ethan a hug goodbye and then Grayson after I pull away Stephanie yells out "get a room" I kinda giggle and so does Grayson, he tells her " it was just a hug" we all start laughing I start to walk towards the car door and in the corner of my eye I can see Ethan and Stephanie making out so I try and get in as fast as I can so I won't have to look at them anymore I tell Grayson to come in the car with me so he won't have to either once we get in the car we start laughing  he looks at me and says "there's something about and it makes me think about you all the time, Sam I really like you" I looked at him and I'm in shock, Grayson like me? I say to him without thinking "I like you to Gray" before he can say anything else Stephanie comes and says "are you ready to go? "Yeah" after Grayson gets out of the car Stephanie rolls her window down and says "oh Grayson I'm having a pool party next Saturday you should come" he shakes his head and smiles "yeah I'll be there."
