Chapter 13

Quick A/N: I most likely got the timing and everything wrong with the house in the last chapter but I was really tired since it was really late at night when I wrote that.

After we payed the check at the restaurant, we went home, changed into our pajamas, and went to sleep since it was 11:00pm.

The next day was a normal day, and we were basically just couch potatoes the entire day.
We all ended up falling asleep on the couch because none of us wanted to move.

The day after that, everyone woke up at around 7am to rent the U-haul, drive to the storage unit, pack everything into the truck, etc. It took us a few days to unpack everything but it was worth it because everyone was in a safer place now. We felt that we would be happier here than if we were at the old house.

A few days later after we finished unpacking and setting everything up, CC, Tyler, Evie, and Josh all went home. Tyler, Evie, and Josh went back to Ohio and CC went back to his house which was a few blocks away from Andy and I.

We were thinking of going out to buy stuff for the baby's room but we needed to take a break from everything. For the next few days, we decided we were going to be couch potatoes and watch movies all day. We decided that we were going to wait until there were 2 months until the baby was due.

Two months later, Andy and I started going out and buying stuff for the baby's room.

"What color scheme should we make her room?" Andy asked as we pulled into the Home Depot parking lot.

"I was thinking maybe a light purple, like a lavender color, and white," I replied.

We got out of the car and walked inside. We got the paint then went to Babies R Us. We got a white crib with a lavender bow, a purple and white tye dye teddy bear, etc. CC came in later on to help us bring everything to the house. He took the bigger furniture and we took the smaller stuff and the stuffed animals.

When we got to the house, CC helped us bring everything into the house and into the baby's room.
I did the painting while Andy and CC we're bringing everything in here. I got bored so I added flower drawings in the corners. It took us a few days to get everything together and in their place but it was worth it. 

Later on when Andy and I are sitting on the couch, watching a movie, he gets a call from the tour manager.

"I'll be back, I gotta take this," he said as he got up.

"Okay, I'll be upstairs," I said as I got up and went to the baby's room. Andy nods and walked outside. When I got to the room, I started adding more flowers until I covered the walls. Hopefully Andy likes it.

Andy walked in about an hour later and just stands there with his mouth wide open.

"You like it..?" I asked with a kind smile.

"Like it? I love it!" He yelled as he hugged me.

Where'd you get the lighter purple from?"

"I mixed the lavender and the white on the paint can caps," I replied.

"Where'd you learn to draw like that? It's amazing!"

"Sometimes when I get bored I just start doodling and most of the time it's flowers so I just started doodling on the wall then it turned out like this. At first the flowers looked like shit but I obviously got better over the years." 

He kissed my lips and I started kissing him back, mine moving in sync with his. We did this for a few minutes but then we were interrupted by a knock on the front door.

"I got it," I say as I start heading downstairs. I open the door to see Brendon and Sarah.

"Oh hey Brendon, hey Sarah, what's up?"

"Nothing much, we were walking around town and we were in the neighborhood so we decided to drop by and see how things are with you guys," Sarah replied.

"Everything's great! Thanks for asking, you can come in," I say as I open the door a little bit more.
They smile as they walk in and sit on the couch. Andy walks downstairs and gets excited when he sees Brendon. Brendon gets up and bro hugs Andy.

"What's up? How's life?" Brendon asked.

"Nothing much, just finished painting Amanda's room and hopefully tomorrow or the day after we can set everything up. Right now we have everything built but we just threw it in the middle of the room while the paint dries," Andy explained.

"What color/colors is the room?" Sarah asked.

"Lavender and white; wanna see?"

"Sure!"

"Wanna come, Brendon?" I asked.

"Come where?"

"To the baby's room. All the furniture is in the middle of the room but we're setting everything up real soon," I reply.

"Okay."

We all went upstairs and Andy and I showed Brendon and Sarah the room.

"Is this paint or is it wallpaper?" Brendon asked.

"Paint, I did it by hand," I replied.

"It's so good!" Sarah said.

"Thanks!"

"You're welcome!" She smiled.

"Oh, sorry to interrupt but it's getting late and Sarah and I have to walk home since we just went for a walk around town," Brendon explained. "But if you need help with the room, just give us a call!"

"Okay, I'm sure we'll end up calling someone to help us figure out where to put everything," Andy said.

"Well, talk to you guys soon," Sarah smiled as she walked out the door.

When they left, Andy and I layed on the couch, put on a movie, and slowly fell asleep.
