"Alex, can you get the mail? I'm washing the dishes!" my mom yelled, trying to get me to actually get out of bed for once.

I rub my eyes and open the curtains, "ugh, why does it have to be so bright out?" I mumble to myself. I look over and see that the house next door has been sold.

"Alex! Please go get the mail!"

"One second mom! I'm getting dressed !" I yell as I put on a Black Veil Brides t-shirt, black jeans that are ripped at the knees, and black high top converse. I get my black eye shadow and my black eyeliner. I make the smokey effect and make a little wing with my eyeliner. I grab my concealer and put it on my wrists to hide my scars. I used to cut when I first started high school but I forced myself to stop before I cut myself too deep. No one knew about it except me. Occasionally I'll cut but that's when I start thinking about something that upsets me.

"Why are you putting on eyeliner if you're just going out to get the mail?"

"Because I want to and I have nothing better to do," I mumble as I slowly walk down the creaky stairs.

I go outside to get the mail and I see a car pull into the driveway at the house next door. A man gets out of the car. He seems familiar. Who does he look like? He looks like the singer of one of the many bands I listen to. He looks in my direction and gives me a friendly smile. I smile and wave back.

"He looks like Andy Biersack!" I accidentally yelled. He looks at me with a puzzled look.

"Sorry, you just remind me of someone, not in a bad way though." I yell, trying to explain everything that just happened. He smiles and just acts like nothing happened and brings in boxes. Maybe he is Andy, maybe that's why he didn't say anything when he looked at me. Either that or he just didn't know what to say.

Andy (or who I think is Andy) walks back out and his sleeves are rolled up, revealing his sleeve of tattoos. I gasp, realizing that it's actually the Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides. I grab the mail and go back inside and act like nothing happened.

"Everything okay dear, you took a long time getting the mail," my mom exclaimed, scanning me to make sure I'm okay.

"Everything is fine, the new neighbors were outside so I was just saying hi to them."

"Maybe I should make some food for them. To welcome them to our neighborhood. That does seem like an excuse for me to see if it's actually Andy. And to possibly get to know him better. I smirk and my mom looks at me like I have 10 heads.

"Why are you smiling dear?"

"I just started fantasizing about my bands again, nothing to worry about," I lied, trying to act normal. I did this on a daily basis so I don't know why she asked me about it now.
