Chapter 18

I take out my phone and look at the time. It reads: 9:45.

"We should probably head home and put Amanda to bed, hopefully Josh and Evie are asleep. We don't need to walk into them...you know..." I said as I got up. I got Amanda's toys and stuff while Jinxx handed Amanda to Andy.

"Bye Jinxx," Andy and I said as we walked out the door.

"Bye guys!" Jinxx smiled. We all waved to each other as we pulled out of the driveway. My phone starts ringing so I look at the caller ID: Evie.

"Hello?" I ask as I answer the phone.

"Ah, Alex, surprised you answered the phone," said a familiar voice.

"Juliet? What the fuck do you want and why are you on my friend's phone?"

"If you want your drunk friends back, you have to hand Andy and your child over to me. He belongs to me! He should be my fiance and that should be my child! Now hand them over before midnight or else your friends will never see the light of day again!" Juliet yelled, followed by an evil laugh.

"This is the exact reason why he left you. You're crazy! Well, that and you fucking slept with other guys!" I yelled. At this point, my face was bright red and my free hand clenched in a fist. I put the phone on speaker so that Andy can hear.

"How the hell did you find that out? And I'm not crazy, he deserves to be my fiance. He doesn't deserve someone like you who cuts themself."

"Juliet, you better leave me and my family alone or else there will be serious consequences! And she doesn't cut herself because I helped her overcome that. I'm sure she would do the same if I were in her shoes and she were in mine. Anyway, fuck off and give us our friends back!" Andy yelled as he pulled into the driveway.

"So if I cut myself you would help me?"
"Hell no! You're crazy! I don't understand how I ever loved you."

"Fine. Anyway, if you want your friends back? Come to the abandoned converse warehouse near the Hollywood sign before midnight with your child. Just you and the child. Bring anyone else, and you're all dead."

There probably isn't an abandoned warehouse over there, I just thought of a random location in Los Angeles and that's what came to mind.

"Fine, I'll be there in 2 hours," Andy said as he hung up the phone. I start crying and I climb into the back seat with Amanda. Andy joins us in the back and hugs me tight.

"What are we gonna do? I can't lose you and Amanda, you guys are my family and I don't know what I would do without you," I say in between sobs.

"Don't worry, you won't lose us, I have a plan. You call Ashley and I'll call the police," Andy said as he wiped away my tears and kisses my forehead.
"What's Ashley gonna do?"

"I'll tell you in a sec. So I'll walk in, holding Amanda, Juliet does whatever she has to do, I scream 'now!' then you and Ashley come in on his motorcycle to distract her while I grab Amanda and you and Ashley get Evie and Josh, then the police come in and arrest her. I know it sounds shitty but that's the only thing I can think of right now." I nod as I grab my phone and start calling Ashley while Andy calls the police. I tell Ashley everything that happened and what the plan is and Andy told the same to the police.

A few minutes later, Ashley and the police arrived at the house. We explained everything one last time before we left. Andy got back into the car and I got on Ashley's motorcycle. Ashley and the police followed Andy to the warehouse. My heart started pounding and my hands became sweaty.

"Ashley, what if his plan doesn't work? I can't lose them," I said as I started to tear up.

"Don't worry, we'll make sure you don't lose them. We know how much they mean to you and how much Andy improved your life," he replied.

"But what if Juliet does something bad to him and Amanda? Knowing her, she'll do something really bad to them and I'll never see them again?" At this point, I was crying my eyes out at the thought of losing them.

"As I said before, don't worry about it, we'll make sure they come back to you without a scratch on them." I hug him and thank him for trying to help me calm down at least a little bit. We arrive at the warehouse and watch as Andy walks inside with Amanda. I hug Ashley tight as we wait for Andy's signal. I turn around and see the cops pull up behind us. I get off the bike and tell the cops the plan one last time. I quickly run back and hop back onto the bike.

"Now!" I hear Andy yell as Ashley speeds through the doors, followed by the cops. Ashley quickly hops off the bike to distract Juliet while Andy grabs Amanda, I help Evie and Josh, and the cops arrest Juliet. Evie, Josh, Andy, and I hug as I start bawling my eyes out again.

Ashley joins us and whispers, "I told you his plan was going to work," in my ear. I smile as I break the group hug and tightly hug Ashley.

"Thank you, Ashley, for helping us arrest Juliet and for helping me get my family back together," I say.
"If you guys need help with anything, you know I am always willing to help. I'll always be there for you guys no matter what," he smiled.

"Thanks man, now I know who to call when a psycho girl tries to take me away from my family again," Andy laughed as he bro hugged Ashley. "We should probably head home now and get some rest."

"Yeah, sounds like a good idea," I replied as I grabbed Amanda. We all headed home but stayed in one room the entire night to make sure everyone was safe. Ashley came too so that he can help us if we need anything. We were all laying on mine and Andy's bed and everyone slowly drifted off to sleep.

I know it's a shitty chapter but I couldn't think of anything so I just wrote whatever. Also, I'm going to try to upload daily again by writing one or two chapters a night so that I can actually upload daily. I finished chapter 17 then immediately started chapter 18. I'll try to keep this up so that I'm not late with uploading like I was before.
