Chapter 8: Claimed?

HERRO!!!! ok soo... i really sorry for kinda abandoning this book for a little while. i was writing another one... soo.. you know. anyway. before i start this chapter i just wanted to say... HOLY FREAKING MOTHER OF TARTARUS!! HOW THE EVER LOVING FLIP DOES THIS HAVE OVER 140 READS?!?! i am genuinely confused. Wow. now... ON TO THE CHAPTER!!

As soon as we walked/were dragged through the "camp boarders" as JC explained, we were spotted by another camper with black hair, and chocolate brown eyes. He looked about 16, and was relatively pale, but looked like he was starting to get a slight tan. He had an oliveish skin tone, and looked to be Italian?  He had a black sword that looked just like JC's hanging on his belt. The guy started walking towards us.

"Hey JC." He gave her a hug, but was more of a side hug, like he wasn't much of a huger. Turning to us, he added. "Who are you?"

"Well. My name is Serafina Waters. This is Luna Astrapí" I told him.

He nodded. "My name is Nico Di Angelo. Welcome to camp."

"Thank you... i guess."

JC said bye to Nico and started herding us towards a huge Blue house, that appeared to have 4 stories.

"Now you meet Chiron." She said as we walked onto the big wrap-around porch. She dropped Jackson on the floor and walked inside. A few minutes later, she came out following a guy in a wheelchair.

"Hello! My name is Chiron. You must be the new campers." Luna and I nodded. "I'll have someone give you girls a tour. Your godly parent should claim you by tonight at the campfire, if it doesn't happen sooner." He told us.

Chiron waved over one of the passing kids. A girl about 18.  She had honey blond hair, and startling grey eyes. She ran over and Chiron introduced her to us.

"This is Annabeth Chase. She can give you a tour of the camp."

We looked at her, and nodded.

"Thanks Annabeth." Luna said.

"Its no problem. Now this way."

After about 20 minutes, we had toured all the cabins, and were now moving on to where the volleyball/basketball court was.

"And this is where we play all of.. our... sports....." She slowly started getting quieter and we noticed that Everyone was staring at a spot over our head's. I glanced at Jyla, and saw a Lightning bolt, floating and spinning, over her head, washing everything in a golden glow. Glancing up, I saw a spear, that washed everything in a reddish glow. Soon, it started fading, but all the campers were still in shock.

I heard the Clop, Clop, Clop of horse hooves, and i turn around to see Chiron on horse back. But looking closer i relized that he wasn't riding the horse, he was part of it! right where his legs should've started, his torso was smoothly grafted into a beautiful white stallion. He towered over everybody else. Then, slowly, he got down on his two front knees. Everyone else followed. Kneeling infront of us, like we were some kind of royalty. (which I didn't like thinking of, considering i actually am.)

The next time he spoke, it was powerful, yet shaky and slightly frightened.

"All Hail Luna Lynn Astrapí, Daughter of Zeus, God of the Sky, and Serafina Rachel Elizabeth Waters, Daughter of Ares, God of war."

once again. im sooo sorry for not updating this is such a long time... i've been working on my "Adopted by Phan?!" book. (shameless self promo..) anyway. Catch ya later Demi-gods! PEACE!!
