Part 12

Ok so i know i said that i would update tomorrow but as soon as i wrote that last chapter i just went on this writing craze and wrote another one. I just looked and no one has read my other one so hopefully by the time i type up this chapter no one will have seen meh mistake. The music video thats playing is actually the one that i wrote this too and it got me into the story so plz read it with that playing if u can.Anyway ill stop boring you so hope ya enjoy this chapter.

Luffys POV

Me, Ace and Sabo were walking through the forest to get home. The trees were swaying and the leaves were rustling. It was actually really quiet considering the fact i was with ace and sabo who would always bicker. They seemed alert. Something did seem off but i couldnt quite pinpoint it. Interrupting my thoughts, a large cat like beast pounced right infront of us. "Luffy get back!" Ace shouted. "Its too dangerous!" Sabo screamed. But i ignored them. For some reason i felt the need to stroke the wild animal. It seemed like it was distressed and i was her. So why shouldnt i help? I carefully closed the distance between me and the beast, my brothers cires falling deaf to my ears. The animals distressed face was centimetres away from my face. Warily, i lifted my rubber hand up to its fur covered face and gently placed my palm against its nose. I didnt ahve to turn back to know my brothers faces were filled with both shock and fear for my life. I stared unto the beasts eyes and looked so hard that i could almost feel the animals soul calm. It then unexpectedly knelt down infront of me. I was shocked. Why did i approach the animal? Why did i feel the urging need to comfort it and how did i do so? However, at this moment, i felt great happiness flow over me. It was overpowering, yet blissful.

Zoros POV

What?! How is this possible?! "He used his conquers haki......at suck a young age!" Sanji exclaimed. Im guessing he was as shocked as i was. But then i realized something. I chuckled quietly as i recalled one fact that i had almost forgotten. "Thats our captain for ya. Always suprising us." I said cheerfully and went back to the memory.

Luffys POV

I slowly turn my head around to my brothers whilst standing closely to the wild beast. Their faces were emgraved with pure shock as they were frozen in place. Their pipes had dropped to the ground without them even noticing. Finally ace decided to speak. "Luffy, what was that.....?" "How did you......do that?" Sabo asked. "Honestly, i have no idea. I felt that it wasnt meaning any harm and just needed comforting. So thats what i did." I replied. I have no idea why they are so shocked. Noticing the tension in the air i decide to change the subject.

"Can i keep him?" I ask. Both my brothers have a horrified expression on their face as i say this. "No!!" They shout simultaneously. "Its too dangerous!" Sabo shouts. "How are we supposed to control it?!" Ace exclaims. I think her likes me. I think i can trust him not to hurt me. But i dont want to control him. Hes a wild animal. Arent they supposed to stay wild? "I guess your right." I say sadly. I think both of my brothers are up to simething because they are whispering something i cant hear. They finally turn back to me after a couple of minutes. "Luffy, we cant bring him home but if he really likes you he will stay near do you can visit him if you want. But make sure to be careful. He is still a wild animal!" Sabo said with a smile on his face. I was so happy!! I finally have a friend who i made all on my own. Im really, realy happy! "Thank you!!" I run over and wrap my rubber limbs around my big brothers tightly. "Ok, ok so how about we head home!!" Sabo said happily. I nodded ky head rapidly. "Finally!! Im starving!!" Ace exclaimed, rubbing his rbling stomache. "Youre always hungry." Sabo retorted. Ace jus pouted in reply. I couldnt help myself from giggling as we made our way home.

Halfway through the chapter people!!! Ive been righing most of the day and my neck hurts.

My sustenance. Aggh i will make it through this and type the rest up!!

Zoros POV

"I guess luffy has aces appetite." Nami giggled. It was strange how much those two were alike and yet they arent blood brothers. "I guess he got it from growing up with him." I muttered to no one in particular. Suddenly, i was overwhelmed by a sense of dread and despair as i continued to watch the memory.

Luffys POV : cheeky little timeskip

Its been 3 monthsince i met that wild animal. I decided to call him Sunny because on the day that we met it was really sunny. My brothers said it was a silly name and i should come up with a new one but sunny really likes it so im going to keep it. I was happily playing catch with sunny today. Sometimes he would help me train or we would just lie down together. Sunny is my best friends. As i threw the massive log, i heard footsteps soming this way. Instead of catching the log, sunny stood infront of me, ready to attack at any moment.

The footsteps got louder as the culpret of the noise revealed themself. "Gramps?!" I shouted. I hadnt told gramps about sunny so how did he find us. "Hey luffy. I came for your lesson." Gramps replied. I patted sunnys head telling him to stand down and that he did. However for some reason he was still wary about gramps. "How did you find me?" I asked. "Ace told me." Gramps replied. "Lets start training." He said. Without replying i just nodded my head. Tbis was getting a little strange. Even sunny could sense it.

"Rule number 1 for becoming a marine." Suddenly gramps came lunging at me. "Choose the right friends." Out of nowhere sunny came in and dragged me out of the way of grampses attack. Whats going on? Hes going harder on me today than usual. Like hes trying to kill me. "Rule number 2." Gramps then lunged at sunny. "Always protect those friends." Realizing what he was about to do i tried to go up to stop him but my ankle was stuck. I tried stretching but i coulnt make it in time as i watched his hand go straight through sunnys chest as he howled in pain. Once gramps hand was pulled out if sunny chest, he threw sunnys dead corpse over to me. I started screaming. My eyes began watering so much i became painful. Granpa then began to walk away. "Lessons over for today. Become stronger so you can protect you friends." He said. I hadnt even noticed he had left. I just screamed and cried over sunnys body for what felt like houra. My voice was hoarse and i had no tears to cry, so i just lay down with sunny amd silently sobbed with no tears.

Ok ok ok. So before everyone starts hating me for making garp the bad guy, i meant it in a way that traumatized luffy but also showing garp wanting to look out for luffy to make the right decisions. In a messed up kind of way. Immmm sooowwwyyy!!!!😭😭😭 Anyway i hope you enjoyed this happy but sad chapter and i hope i didnt shatter anyone hearts by killing luffys lion. Yes it was a lion. Thousand sunny did look like one. Creativity is lovely. Anyway hope ya enjoyed byyyyeee!!!!
