Listen to: Antichrist by The 1975
~~~~~
It's like they fell in love all over again.
Though this time, only one is aware that the love between them ever previously existed. Regardless, however, it is still love. Blooming, heartwarming, disgusting, love. You know those couples that are just so hopelessly in love that you can't help but resent them? The ones that have the perfect relationship, the perfect love story literally torn out of a cheesy rom-com? Yeah, that's an effective way, to sum up, Camila and Lauren's relationship.
Their second date involved Camila's favorite band (Oh, Lauren! How did you know I liked them?). Lauren was so determined on getting front row, she waited outside the Brooklyn venue. Outside. Alone, too! She had forbidden Camila from waiting with her, as the gift, after all, was for her. So when the two girls to The 1975, and they played the girl's mutual song. She's American, you better believe Camila made out with Lauren for a full five minutes. The lead singer of the band even noticed them, slurring into the mic, "Ah, don't you just love young love? Absolutely disgusting."
It was that night when Camila knew she'd made the right decision in choosing to be with Lauren. And from there, the two girls simply grew inseparable-
"Please tell me you're not thinking about eating out Camila again."
Lauren nearly falls out of her seat.
"Okay, first of all," She jabs Normani in the shoulder once she fixes her balance. "Fuck you. Secondly-"
"Are you gonna tell me that you and her haven't hooked up at all? Cause it's been a month, and..." Normani raises a brow, smirking. "You know Ally has a loud mouth."
"We've never even done anything around her!...Obviously!"
"No, but she has almost walked in on you guys fooling around. You guys should really learn to keep it down..."
"I-!" Lauren begins, but her retort deflates as she realizes she simply can't defend herself. When I said the two girls had been inseparable, well...I meant it. Normani hums knowingly.
"Let her be in love, Mani," Dinah takes the seat next to Lauren, throwing her books down on the desk. She instantly opens to a fresh page in her notebook and writes down the date, December 27. The professor isn't even in yet, and Dinah's already starting on notes.
Both Normani and Lauren have the same idea.
"You're here early?!" They both clamor simultaneously, clearly concerned about Dinah's health.
"What?" Dinah raises a brow at them, confused until she realizes the meaning to their words. Offended, she straightens her back against her chair, huffing proudly.
"For your information, I actually do care about my studies, contrary to what you two believe."
The girls maintain their arched brows and dropped jaws.
Dinah scoffs. "I'm failing this class, okay? Would you two leave me alone now?"
Lauren and Normani turn back to their back to their conversation, about to re-engage when the professor walks in. Normally, the girl's would pay no mind- Lauren gets As in her sleep, and Mani doesn't study until after class. In this case, however, the professor captures everyone's attention.
"Toxic relationships," Mrs. Kiyoko exclaims as she finishes writing the topic on the whiteboard. Before she even turns around, she calls on Normani.
"M-me?" Normani mumbles.
"Yes, Ms. Kordei. You know this."
"Um..." Normani repeats again. Then, as if taken by epiphany, she gasps, "Oh! Edward and Bella from Twilight!"
