After my outburst, Lane so-called "grounded" me, which I find completely illogical. He says I'm not allowed outside, but I haven't even stepped a foot outside since I was taken into the Pack house, so the joke's on him.

Not only that, but I am inches away from telling the entire Pack house that I'm Damien's mate, hate me or not, they can only respect it. Damien himself, when I get to see him, I'm going to strangle him to death. As for Lily, I have yet to receive another letter, but my next move is to find Jacob's mom's name somewhere in the Pack library, which leads me to the 7th floor of the Pack house.

I've noticed that everyone all around is giving me looks. I'm not sure if it's because I look like a monk in robes wearing the oversized dress, or the fact that my outburst also put everyone in shock, and I myself know that news spreads around Pack Houses like a disease.

When the elevator dings to go down to another level, I check my surroundings. There are a few doors on this level, but the only one that's opened is the one at the very end that looks like the library. The labels by the other doors say STUDY ROOM 7-21, and the numbers only go up. It's easy to navigate myself. I reach the library and there are a few people that don't even look up from their book to look at me.

"May I help you?" A lady hurried over to me with glasses and a huge smile on her face.

"Yes, do you know where any Pack information is?"

She smiles at me for a few seconds, then nods her head, "yes! Right this way." She leads me over to one the sections and I can see the dust collecting on the books. The library smells like old paper and whenever you breathe you choke on a dust particle. She stops at the end of a shelf and drags her fingertips across a selection of titles. "We have the history of our Pack leading to this day! We also have histories of other Packs, The names of all the Packs in America, here is the book of Worldwide Packs, Guinness World Record of Packs-"

I shake my head and sigh, "I'm looking for information on this Pack. Are there any collections of names of the people in the Pack?"

She frowns, "I'm sorry, we aren't authorized to hold that type of information. Only Alpha is allowed to carry that type of information, but we have other books on our Pack."

I grin in frustration, "no, that's fine." I kick the air and look up at the roof. I don't know what to do or where to go at this point. All I can do is wait for Lily to reply, and Damien to finally "make time" on his schedule. Thinking about Damien angers me beyond my core and it makes me want to punch the nearest object. I ball my fist and turn around and head out losing hope on finding out anything about Jacob's mom. I can hardly remember her name. It's on the tip of my tongue.

I trudge back on the elevator and press my floor. The elevator closes and goes down, but I feel a tug at the dress. I look down and realize the dress is caught in between the elevator doors. I shriek and start to tug at the dress, but it slowly lifts to the top of the elevator. When the dress refuses to rip off, I manage to get it off quickly and easily since it's so huge. The rest of the dress is chewed by the elevator, and it suddenly stops. I look at the floor numbers and it's not showing any actual number. "You're kidding me," I whisper.

"Okay, Alena, you got this. You're totally not stuck on a God damn elevator right now," I pace back and forth to calm myself. I press my floor number again, and the elevator remains in place. I then press the button to open the doors and it refuses. I press all the buttons with no such luck. Last is the EMERGENCY STOP button surrounded by red. I press that, and an electrical spark pops and the light completely shuts off. "Oh my God!" Now is the time to panic.

"Someone help!" I continuously kick the door over and over, but I don't know what's happening. "I'm stuck on the elevator! Anyone!" I kick at the door.
