Jimin's POV
I was woken up by the bright sunlight shining right on my face. I rubbed my eyes and turned my head, not wanting to wake up yet. And of course that didn't work because the sun was heating up my face and it was impossible to fall back asleep.
What's with the insane weather nowadays?
I opened my eyes fully and saw Yoongi, my boyfriend, sleeping right next to me. I smiled and got up as quietly as possible, not wanting to wake him up. Trust me, even if I am his boyfriend, Yoongi will still kill anyone that wakes him up.
I crawled out of bed, washed my face and dressed up. When I left my apartment I glanced at the calendar. 1st August 2017. It's our special day.

"Hello, welcome to Flowerz Haven. How can I help you?" I looked over to the cashier and saw an unfamiliar face.
"Oh good morning," I looked for his nametag. "Sungjae." He just looked at me weirdly so I guess I should answer his question.
"Um, I can just look around myself actually."
I started walking around the familiar store, knowing the precise locations of the different types of flowers by heart. I am a regular customer here because my friend, Namjoon, owns the store. He had worked alone in this store for a long time and I wasn't expecting a new worker in here.
Anyways I proceeded to choose the perfect type of flower for my boyfriend. Today is our 1st anniversary; it's been one year since we became boyfriends, and I want to choose the best flower this shop has to offer.
"Hmm, are you looking for flowers to give to your girlfriend?"
I almost screamed as someone said that right into my ear, but I held it in to maintain a man's self-esteem. Instead I jumped and almost dropped my wallet I held in my hands.
I turned around and saw Sungjae standing right behind me. I frowned, starting to get annoyed at this kid.
"So, am I correct?" Sungjae was standing there, with a resting face, as if he did nothing wrong at all. Wow this kid is so disrespectful. I mean he doesn't look older than me in any way, so he should at least apologize! I am seriously getting slightly angry.
However, I am not about to let a kid ruin my day so I sighed and swallowed my anger. "Actually, you are quite close, but it's for my boyfriend. It's our 1st anniversary together and I want to get him something real special."
I wanted to choose the flowers myself, but seeing how enthusiastic he is, I might as well give him a chance to help me.
"Ah I see." Sungjae nodded his head and I was a bit surprised at his reaction. I thought this disrespectful brat will definitely freak out at me being gay and all, but I guess he still has some civility left in him.
I waited for him to suggest a few types of flowers, but he was looking around the shop, scanning the flowers on display. He also looked quite nervous, and I'm starting to think that he has no idea what he is doing.
"I have a few flowers in mind, maybe you can help me make a bouquet?" I tried so hard to be nice, and it's just because I know Namjoon is the one hiring the workers.
Right after that suggestion I made, Sungjae jerked his head back to me with a huge smile. Aish, I must've saved his life.
He led me to the counter for wrapping bouquets and I was choosing the ribbons and wrapping paper while he picked out the flowers I chose. I handed my choice of ribbons and paper and waited for him to wrap the flowers. I really wanted to trust him and all, but I couldn't help but to look at him fixing my bouquet. I know all the steps, and judging from my observation just now I'm not sure he knows anything about flowers, so I stared at him while he does his thing.
He was doing well until he gasped really loudly, scaring me once again.
"What?" I asked, trying to sound as polite as possible.
"I just remembered that a new type of flower was restocked just this morning, and it's really beautiful. Do you want to take a look?"
I looked at my watch, it's only a little bit over 10 in the morning. I shrugged and nodded. Yoongi is definitely sound asleep on his bed, so I guess I should make an effort to get him something impressive.
Sungjae was back in a jiffy with a bundle of flowers, he picked one and handed it to me. "Here you go."
My eyes widened so much I thought they might fall out. I had never seen it before. Not only is this flower beautiful, it looks really special and unique that I question its existence. Maybe it's fake.
I handled it in my palms, making sure the thorns on its stem don't hurt me. The shape of the flower looked really similar to a lily, but it's the colour that surprised me. There are six petals, but each petal has its own colour. The tip of the petals seemed to be the 'source' of the colours, as the colours saturation is the highest there. Then the different colours spread throughout the respective petal and slowly they fade into white, meeting in the centre. Even the anther corresponds to the colour of each petal.
It's the most beautiful flower I have ever seen, and it's definitely the perfect gift for Yoongi.
I placed one in the middle of the bouquet and ran back home after paying, forgetting to ask for the name.

Third person's POV
"Hi Sungjae, how are you handling the work?" Namjoon walked out his office and into the shop.
"Oh good morning boss. Everything is going fine, I served my first customer just now." Sungjae answered simply while packing up the ribbons and wrappers Jimin left behind just now.
"I see, well I'm sure you will enjoy your time here, and I trust you to be a good worker here." Namjoon went over to Sungjae and patted his shoulder, earning a "Thanks" and a bow from him.
Suddenly the door to the shop opened and the bell connected to it rang.
Sungjae was ready to greet the customer but the visitor ran straight pass him and crashed into Namjoon. Sungjae was left alone, a bit shocked and disappointed that he couldn't greet his customer.
"Joonie!!!" The visitor screamed.
"Yah! Get off me Jin. There's people in here." Namjoon grabbed Jin's shoulder and pushed him away lightly.
"Oops sorry. Who is he?" Jin dragged Namjoon away from Sungjae and asked quietly.
"He's our new worker, Yoon Sungjae."
Before Namjoon can do anything else, Jin walked over to Sungjae and greeted him. Sungjae greeted back just to be nice but quickly went back to work.
"Why are you here? I'm pretty sure you have a job too." Namjoon asked him so that Sungjae can work peacefully.
"I have a day off because my boss is lazy and doesn't want to open his restaurant today." Jin was clinging onto Namjoon's arm, looking really excited about his day off.
"I have to work." Namjoon pried Jin's fingers off from his arm and helped Sungjae to clean up. Namjoon knew that his boyfriend wants him to take a day off too, but he refused and Jin was left alone pouting.
"Hey Sungjae, whose flowers are these? I've never seen them before." Namjoon asked, pointing at the flowers that were sold to Jimin.
"Really? I thought you ordered them and I sold them to the customer just now. Sorry..." Sungjae handed the bundle over to Namjoon.
"It's fine, but I didn't order them. I don't even know its name." Namjoon scratched his head.
Jin ran over when he heard their conversation, a smile replacing the pout. He jumped onto Namjoon once again and shouted right into his ear.
"DO YOU LIKE IT? I PICKED THEM MYSELF!!!"
A/N: Any melodies out there? Cuz I included Sungjae in this fan fiction! Don't worry all the other BTS members will also appear later in the story, but I'm not sure if Sungjae will ever appear again because he's just a side character... (Sorry if you are a melody.)
Btw I'm not a melody but I know Sungjae from the K-Drama Goblin. Anyways I think the chapters in this story will be shorter than my last fan fiction, but maybe there will be more chapters. Hope you guys like it!
