Third Person's POV
"What do you mean? I'm setting camp over there so we can wait until the morning and go find our boyfriends." Namjoon looked at Jimin, his tone with a hint of disappointment that his younger friend had gave him an order.
Jimin didn't look sorry for dropping the honorifics at all, instead he repeated, this time with increased confidence, his statement. "You are not going anywhere Namjoon. There's only one place we should be going, and that's home." Even when Jimin's short fingers on the small hand were unable to wrap around his friend's wrist, they never gave up on grabbing it.
But no matter how hard those fingers try, Jimin's hands stayed the small and adorable body parts, because with one swift move Namjoon pulled his hand free. "No Jimin. I'm not going home. I came here to fetch Jin and take my boyfriend back from whatever this is. I don't care if you give up that easily, because I'm definitely not leaving with Jin." Namjoon was done being the nice and tolerant hyung, he didn't understand why Jimin was saying those things, but he didn't show any interest in finding out why.
Jimin's eyes widened at the sudden lost of his grip, but continued to stare at his hyung intensely. "Don't you understand Namjoon? We can't see Jin. We can't see Yoongi. It's..." His impetuous mind almost, almost betrayed him. He couldn't tell Namjoon why, but he had to, in some way or another, persuade Namjoon to go home with him. Jimin hesitated for a while too long, painting a confused and annoyed look on Namjoon's face. So he ditched the idea to look for a perfect word, instead he spat out the first word that came to mind, "It's...dangerous."
A frown and intense black orbs were added onto the confused look. Namjoon was close, very close, to just walk off and ignore Jimin. The only thing that kept Namjoon's legs in place is the fact that Jimin is still his friend. "Ok...care to explain?"
Jimin did this a thousand times, no hesitation was needed, "I can't tell you. But I promise that you will know once Jin walks out that door by himself. And that would be tomorrow." Jimin pointed towards the door without turning his head, his stare still as intense as ever.
And it was this, the words Jimin said, the tone Jimin used, the statement Jimin made, it was these things that lit up a fire in Namjoon's heart. "Are you fucking serious now? Are you seriously going to repeat this shit to me, now, when I am so close to reuniting with my fucking boyfriend? I don't understand why I am the one that knows nothing about this. Even a friend wouldn't tell me the truth?! I wait, I don't think you are my friend anymore Park Jimin, because you are just an angel with a devilish heart." Namjoon was angry, but that last line carried more sadness, more disappointment, rather than anger. His gaze turned sad and disappointed, like how a father would look at his child that convicted a crime.
Just an angel with a devilish heart. This line repeated in Jimin's mind over and over again, those words acting like knives ripping through his heart mercilessly. It wasn't only straight up mean, it was also mocking. Because 'angel' is how Yoongi describes Jimin, and ruining that nickname did not do good with Jimin's heart. In fact, Jimin felt his hands clenching into fists ready to fly out. His feet gripped the bottom of his shoe and dug himself into the ground, feeling himself slowly unleashing the beast inside.
But, the beast couldn't win the intelligent hunter, and Jimin could only stare wide eyed at his friend who ran towards the wooden house and slammed the door before Jimin could say or do anything.
