"Come on let's go grab our backpacks" I told Christine, she nodded her head. We walked to my room, grabbed our backpacks, and lined up at the door.
"Ready girls?" My Mom asked, we nodded our heads and left to the car. We got to school
I'll pick you up after school Eevee, text me if you need me at all ok?"
"Ok Mom"
"I love you"
"I love you too" My Mom drove off and Christine and I walked to my locker

"Wow babe, you look great" It was Todd, he halfway scared me when we walked through the doors
"Thanks babe" I looked at Christine confused
"I texted him to meet us here while you were talking with your Mom" I nodded my head and unlocked my locker got out of the way and opened it, Todd looked at me confused
"Sometimes my ex puts stuff in there" He shook his head and I looked in my locker, there was a card, I grabbed my binders and the card and shut my locker
"Love letter?" Asked Christine
"I don't know" I replied, I opened the card.
Eevee,
I have liked you for a very long time and now I'm thinking of doing this, I know I shouldn't have waited this long, but now I'm desperate to get to know you, so will you go out with me?
Branden
I turned my back against the wall and slid down
"Who's it from?" Asked Christine
"Branden" I replied. Christine read the letter and sat down next to me, I was crying. Branden was a guy I liked for a really long time, but the way he acted around me made me think he was never interested, so I never got with him and got with Daniel instead.
"I wish I could say yes" Christine hugged me
"You want me to tell him for you?"
"No" Christine looked at Todd
"We'll be right back babe" Christine lifted me up, stuck the card in her purse and walked me to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and cleaned up my teary makeup
"I have to tell him" Christine looked at me. I looked down in the sink, took a breath, looked in the mirror and put on a fake smile, we walked out of the bathroom and back towards Todd. *Ring*
"I'll see you in class" said Christine, grabbing Todd and getting to class
