E M O R Y
The fact that Hotch won't let me work because of the baby is absolutely heart wrenching. Work is my fourth favorite thing in the world, after my dad, Spencer, and this baby. It keeps me going, knowing that I'm saving all of these people. It's even more frustrating when Spencer gets to go work and I have to stay at this dumb apartment that I still share with Elle. Spencer and I have been looking at houses but nothing really extravagant. Nothing has caught our eye. We really have to find something soon, but on top of the wedding, the baby, and finding a house, it's extreme stress for me. So while Spencer's at work I'm multitasking on finding a house and planning the wedding.
In the past two hours, I can say I've done quite a lot. I found two houses to go look at, and called the agents to tell them we will be stopping by tomorrow, I've got an appointment to look at wedding dresses, and I've found the location of our wedding.
"Hey babe? I know you're at work but I just wanted to tell you that I've got us appointments to look at two houses, for me to look at a dress, and I have the location of our wedding. Call me back, love you, bye." I ended the voice message and slid my phone into my pocket. Elle's apartment seemed to get smaller as the days went by, and that may just be because my baby bump is growing and I can't really fit everywhere anymore.
We both decided that our wedding would be in two months, so it will be November. My idea was to have it in the park, where they have an absolutely beautiful sanctuary for weddings.
I sighed, knowing that I had nobody to go to my dress appointment with and stood up, heading out the door and to the small shop down the street for my appointment. I walked into the shop which was completely empty except for one worker, but the dresses that I saw were absolutely beautiful.
"Hi, I'm here for my appointment? The name's Emory Morgan." I told the lady at the desk whose name tag read Hannah.
"Hi Emory! My name is Hannah," she spoke with a smile, pointing at her tag, "come right this way. I already have a few chosen for you!" She said with a small squeal. Hannah was a cute girl, with brown hair that laid on her back and a small bunny nose. Her makeup was done to perfection and her voice was sort of high pitched. She seemed no older than twenty five.
"Okay, perfect." I smiled, following her to a room where three dresses laid, and a curtain where I was supposed to change. She gestured to the dresses and I picked one up, taking it to the changing room. As I stripped off my clothing, I took a look at the dress. It was so pretty. The top was floral designed and had off the shoulder sleeves, with a long poof bottom with small flowers aligning it. After putting it on, it wasn't as pretty on me as I expected.
"I love it, but it's not what I'm looking for." I admitted as I did a small spin to show Hannah the dress.
"That's alright, I'm sure this one will fit you perfectly." She handed me the next dress and I took it back to try on, "I have to go help another client. I'll get you at the checkout if you decide on one."
I nodded my head although she couldn't see me and carried on to try on the dress.Perfect it was. It was a strapless, big, flowy dress with a see through cover to a white fabric with small flower petals decorating it. Now this one, this one was the one. It was absolutely beautiful.
I strutted out of the room doing a little twirl, suspecting that since Hannah left nobody was in the room. Wrong I was. Three smiling women stood staring at me with awestruck eyes and agape mouths.
"You guys! What're you doing here?" I gasped at Elle, Penelope, and JJ and ran down as carefully as I could to greet them.
"Well, being the awesome profilers we are, Reid got the voicemail and we looked through the systems to find out when and where a certain Emory Morgan booked her appointment." JJ smiled proudly, placing her hands on her hips.
"So, are you trying on any other ones?" Elle asked with a raised eyebrow. I smiled at my shoes and looked back up to the curious girls.
"Nope." I said with fake sadness.
"What? Why?" Penelope complained, looking at the other dresses in the room.
"Because. I already found my dress."
