Jason runs down the gravel road, running straight towards the fire looking for injured people. He turns toward me and says,
"I'll search for injured people within the burning and burnt places, you go check on that guy and find out why he would burn down a nice village, please." He said before turning around and storming into a flaming house searching for any injured people to heal. I just stand there for a second,
"Okay then" I say to myself. I look around. It couldn't be that hard to find him. He's taller than the whole village. I look around trying to find him. I jump up to try and get a higher view. I still can't find him.
"It can't be that hard to find him" I continue talking to myself. I look around for a while longer but no luck. I can't find Jason either. In the end, I just decide to go home. Luckily, my house isn't burnt. I creak the door open slowly and walk in. I close the round door behind me and pace toward my bedroom. As soon as I walk in my room, I see the guy with the fire hair except, thankfully now, he's not on fire and nor are his hands. He has red hair, pale skin and bluish greenish eyes. He's wearing boots, jeans, a red flannel shirt with a green jacket over it. On his head he has a a high-crowned, wide-brimmed sable fedora which looks all brown and dusty like Indiana Jones. He is cramped up inside my room. He's literally taking up all the space from floor to ceiling and walls. We both widen our eyes and scream at the exact same time. He accidentally knocks down my chandelier which almost crushes me.
"WHO?! HOW DID YOU?! WHAT?! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!" I yell. He looks nervous when I yell.
"Sorry but please keep your voice down. If they hear me, they'll surely come for me and who knows what they'll do to me" he says frightened. I giggle to myself,
"Hobbits aren't vicious. The best they could do is throw a bunch of rotten vegetables at you."
"Oh", he replies."Who are you?" I ask.
"I'm Ruairi Cuthbert-Ross" he replies.
"Why the hell did you burn down half the village?! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't get the mob to get you!" I exclaim.
"Nonononono! Wait! It was an accident, I swear!" Ruairi yells. I roll my eyes and sigh.
"What... are you?" I ask.
"Me? I'm a fire bender!" Ruairi says.
"Well if burning half the village down was an accident, how did you do it?" I ask.
"Well, I'm an architect you see-"
"Is being an architect really a GOOD job for a fire bender?" I interrupt.
"Um... uh... well... I-I... guess I never REALLY thought about it" says Ruairi. I give him a concerned expression."Um... okay then, well keep going" I say.
"Alright then, so, before I go on with the story, you should that I can't control my powers" Ruairi says. I look very concerned. I feel extremely nervous knowing that I have a living fire in my house and not knowing when it's going to bust out! I'm tempted to tell him to get out but I don't want to be rude.
"So I was building a dining table from elder oak wood at one of the hobbit's places when suddenly my my hands and hair went ablaze and there wasn't much I could actually do" he explains."How come your hat didn't burn?" I ask. He takes it off and looks at it with a smile.
"This old thing was given to me by a half-elf. I think her name was Ru? Yeah, she enchanted this hat for me. Anyway, who are you?" He asks.
"My name is Louis. Louis Caruana" I say.
"Pleasure" he replies. Suddenly Jay bursts into the room."Louis, I've been looking all over the place for you! I see you found 'He with flaming hair'" he says.
"Seriously, please just call me Ruairi" he says.
"Roooorryy?" Jay replies.
"So Jay, how's the village" I ask.
"Better. I put out all the fires so that's good" he says.
"That is good news! I'll pack my things and we can go" I say.
"Go where?" Asks Ruairi.
"Jay, is going to take me to my Grandfather" I say.
"Can I come?" Asks Ruairi. Jay and me look at each other and nod.
"Sure!" I say."It might be a little difficult though. All those hobbits will be looking for me. We'll have to find a way to sneak out" says Ruairi.
