When one dies to save another

Unrar runs as fast as he can to Kanansu and leaps on her. He wraps his vast strong arms around her sheltering her from the arrows. The arrows rain down puncturing his back piercing through his flesh. The arrows hit him multiple times. Unrar felt as like as if he'd been shot multiple times by a machine gun. His white fur was now stained a violent red. He continued to bleed out. Ryu had also been shot dead by the arrows. The twelve black demons continued firing arrows at them. Unrar acted as a shield, protecting Kanansu from every arrow aimed in her direction.

Her eyes widened as she heard what sounded like repetitive slaps on elastic bands and falling sticks from the sky which ended with sharp metal blades colliding into the ground which sounded like the instantaneous shattering of glass. Kanansu looked Unrar's chest which was now spilling blood everywhere. Xanala calls her dragons. All five of them soar beneath the stone shelter.
"Kill all of the Black Demons except the leader! Bring the leader to me!" Says Xanala. The dragons nod and fly up to the Fort's balcony. One of the dragons grabs Tia by the shoulders and flies her down to us. The remaining four dragons engulf the Black Demons in scorching tongues of fire.

Now that there is no one firing arrows and the coast is clear I run up to Kanansu and push Unrar's body off her. Unrar looks like a pin cushion. And arrows are the pins plunging deep into his back.
"Kanansu! Are you alright?!" I exclaim.
"I'm fine!" She replies.
"Llll...louis" Unrar gasps. I gasp in horror.
"Oh My God!" I yell as I kneel down next to Unrar. He lays on the cold ground weak and defeated.
"I-I said I'd make it up to-ooo... you" wheezes Unrar. He grips his chest in pain.
"What's with this stupid last words junk, you're going to LIVE!" I say fighting back tears.
"I-I...I've made a... lot of mi-Mistakes... in my life, I'm so- 'gah' so sorry I ordered you to beE executed" he says as his tears mix with his blood and sweat.

"I was ruthless and merciless and I fear... I fear... that I haven't changed at all" he says in his last breaths.
"You have changed! You are a new person and it has been an honor to by your side" I say. All of a sudden, Unrar's pupils grow larger. He looks terrified with shock. He struggles to breath as he says his last words,
"L-Louis... I-I don't want to die!" He cries tears and blood trickling down his face.
"It's okay, it's okay, I'm here for you" I say reassuringly and calm.
"At least I can die knowing that I have made up for all the mistakes I've made in my life" he says before his eyes drift away from me and turn pail.
"You have" I whisper in his ear. King Unrar is dead.

"He saved my life" says Kanansu with wide eyes.tears streamed down her checks. I turn around and,
"RYU! OH GOD NO! NO! NOOO! RYU!" I shout but it is too late. He is also dead. They are now both cold corpses. Kanansu' dress is stained in Unrar's blood. We stand in silence. There is nothing we can do. The clouds turn grey and rain upon us. While the rain falls, a woman passes by on the street. She has white hair and pale skin but looks young. Almost as if she's in her twenties. She is wearing a heavy dark cloak. She notices Unrar and Ryu lying dead on the ground. She runs quickly over to us.
