Louis' POV
"DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!" Yells Xanala. Immediately, the five dragons swoop down. Two of the dragons fly toward Tormies and Breezy to free them from their restraints. The other three soar over the twelve black demons blazing them with fire. As one elf gets picked from the ground, another is already falling to the ground. The two dragons bite off Breezy and Tormies' chains and all seven dragons attack the twelve black demons except Breezy who flees the the building for fear of melting to a puddle. While the Twelve Black Demons are distracted, Xanala flies down to the lever and pulls it opening the trap door. I can se the light looming down over us. Xanala swoops down. "I can only take two at a time, except Jason who is worth two people, I'll take him up first" says Xanala. I nod and she puts her arms beneath the dragon (Jason) and lifts him up out of the hole.
She flies down again, "Next!" She says urgently. Next she carries Ruairi and Amelia. Then Me and Daniel. Then Kanansu and Ryu. Finally, she breaks Unrar's chains and takes him to the top. "Everyone! Go!" Yells Xanala. "Dragons! Retreat!" She continues. We run for our lives. While I'm running, I realize that the surviving black demons including Tia are firing hundreds of thousands of arrows at us. "Everyone! Get under cover!" I yell as I leap beneath shelter made of stone. Xanala takes Jason and herself beneath the same shelter. Ruairi, Amelia and Daniel leap beneath it as well. Kanansu and Ryu are still running toward the shelter. Unrar is far behind. "Come on!" I scream in horror. The arrows have almost rained upon them. Unrar knows neither, Kanansu or Ryu will make it to the shelter in time and he knows he can only save one of them.
