I have been reading that book for weeks now even before I went to sleep. I just couldn't put it down. Eventually it reminded of me when I saw that girl in the mirror who looked exactly like me. When this came in my mind I ran down to the cellar where this old mirror was. I pulled the blanket off it and still looked like the same.
"Where is the spell?" I said as I went through the book again then I found it.
"Show me water, show me air, show me dirt, show me fire snow me myself from the other world."
The mirror then showed me a new born baby.
"W-What? Is this some kind of joke?" I asked myself. Then I saw this.
"If the spell worked but all you see is a new born human baby, it's because the other half of the person isn't grown up yet. Wait till the years go by."
It was a relief that it worked and I didn't mind waiting because then I can watch her grow up and got to know her. I put the book down because I wanted to go to the other world. First I put my hand in and it looked like water. Soon I stepped in and my whole body was sucked in. It was a weird feeling, it felt like I was flying or falling. When I reached the end I was floating in the air. I looked like a ghost but I was just a soul here. My feet reached the floor carefully and I started to walk towards the child. Her name was (Y/n). What a pretty name. She was sleeping so calmly. I caressed her cheek and it looked like she wanted to hold onto my hand but since I was a soul I thought her tiny fingers would go trough my hand then it didn't. She was holding my pointer finger. This was one of the cutest thing I had ever seen. Sadly this moment was interrupted by a woman and a man who I suppose were her parents. I let her hand go because I was afraid they would see me but they just went through me. It was a weird but horrible feeling. (Y/n) started crying right after I let her hand go.
Was there a sister feeling or what?
- one year later -
The parents bought (Y/n) a mirror so it was easy for me to visit her. She was the only one who could see me which was a good thing. Whenever her parents left her in her room I always went through the mirror and told her fairy tales. She always held onto my hand or my fingers.
One time when I was about to leave she held her hand out and I didn't know what she wanted until she spoke.
"Sis..." She said and I turned around. I knew she could talk because she could say 'mommy, daddy, eat, sleep, play' but hearing her saying 'Sis' just made my cry. Another happy memory that kept me motivated to visit her more often.
I went back to her and held her hand again.
"I ove you..." She said as she looked at me. I was so happy that I picked her up and hugged her.
"I-I love you too." I said as I started to cry.
"Don't cy..." She said.
"I'm not crying, I'm just happy." I said again. "I'm happy that I'm your sister."
- another year later -
"C'mon, I'm here, you can do it!" (Y/n)'s Mom said as she tried to teach her daughter walk but she couldn't start to move her legs. Something was bothering her. I walked to her and held her hand a bit.
