Chapter 9 - The Movies

We all walked into the theater with our copious amounts of popcorn and candy. The theater was pretty much empty, so we took it upon ourselves to find the best possible seats. We ended up sitting in the very back, the seating arrangement went: Noah, Sadie, Me, and Finn. After endless previews the movie began. I hadn't seen the original it, so I was not familiar with the plot, all I knew was that it had a clown in it. The first thing I noticed was that Richie looked like a young version of Finn, which made me laugh a bit. The movie then started to get very scary, and I was practically closing my eyes the whole time. I open my eyes and a seemingly calm scene, but out of no where Pennywise appears and I scream bloody marry and jump into Finn's arms. I then realized what I had just done and how embarrassing it was, so I quickly pulled my self away from Finn and whispered "sorry". But before I could get up, he pulled me back into his chest again and whispered, "it's okay Mills". We stayed like this for the rest of the film and I would be lying if I said I wasn't blushing. Luckily Finn couldn't see it because of the dimmed lights. I couldn't even pay attention to the screen anymore, the only thing I was looking at was him. I wanted to stay in his arms forever. I really do like him, but I'm sure he likes someone else. He's so good looking, kind, and funny. Who wouldn't like him? The credits start rolling and the lights come on again. I quickly jump back into my original seat before Sadie and Noah can see me. We leave the theater and start to head home. As I am talking to Sadie, I feel a hand intertwine with mine. Knowing who it is, I feel my cheeks heat up, and I turn around to see no other than a smiling Finn. I need to tell him how I feel.
