Chapter 10 - Feelings

Finn's POV
Today is the day i'm going to tell Millie how I feel. Even if she doesn't like me back, I can't keep my feelings from her any longer or I might go crazy. Noah told me he was ok with me liking Millie. He said I should go for it and that she probably likes me too. I plan on telling her tonight so I hope all goes well.

Millie's POV
I can't go on without telling Finn how I feel, but I just don't know how to. I'm not a person who can just walk up to someone and say, "I like you". I don't have that just confidence. I'll probably talk to Sadie tonight about how to tell him. She always has good advice.

Millie's POV
Sadie and I spent the whole day by the beach but the boys went into town with my dad. I kinda wish Finn was at the beach with us, but it is what it is. My parents just left to go on a "date night" so we will have the house to ourselves. We all sit down on the couch and play a movie, but I honestly was not paying attention to it at all! I was texting Sadie how to tell Finn that I like him. She told me to tell him once the movie is over, and just be honest with him. She said that if he doesn't like me, he's blind. I couldn't ask for a better friend than Sadie. She always know what to say. After the movie, a wave of anxiety hits me, as I know I'm supposed to tell Finn now. Sadie shoots me a thumbs up. I clear my throat to catch the boys attention, and say, "Noah, do you mind if I borrow Finn? I need to talk to him about something". Noah smiles and says, "Funny you say that. Finn has something he wants to talk to you about as well". This makes me even more nervous. What if he is going to say that he doesn't like me and thinks I'm weird. Oh goodness. Finn grabs my hand and leads me up to the roof of our beach house. I immediately blush a light shade of pink when he touches my hand. I can hear the sound of footsteps behind me, but I choose to ignore them. Once we get up there, there are two chairs, Christmas lights everywhere, and Finn's guitar. I was very confused what was going on. Finn grabbed his guitar and sat down in the seat facing me. He slowly began to sing "can't help falling in love with you" (I'm not going to list out that lyrics because I'm lazy) and I finally understood what was happening. Finn Wolfhard actually likes me too! Tears brimmed my eyes and I smiled widely. This was the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me. As he finished the song, he looked at the ground and said, "I really like you Millie, and I get it if you don't like me bec-" I cut him off by saying, "Finn, I like you too". His head immediately shot up and he said, "R-really?". I nodded sincerely. "D-do you want to be my girlfriend?" he asked. "I would love to" I replied. Before we could continue anything, I hear Noah and Sadie scream "awwwwww". My eyes widen when I realize that they saw the whole thing. "I got it on video!" Noah yells. I just laugh because I can't be mad at him, the best thing ever just happened to me. I don't even know what to do! This is crazy!!
