I think,
more than anything,
I needed a crutch
and so I found one.
In hindsight,
it was less a connection
and more a co-dependency,
and in a very bad way.
Looking back,
I didn't know what to do
so I asked for help
and it was provided.
But I played a dangerous game.
I was tangled, and twisted,
and in a way,
I relied on it.
