Chapter 8

Brielles POV

We were in Socials. Our least favorite class. The only up was we werent  in Ms Ashers room, we were in the computer lab today.  We had some weird power point thing to make worth like 25 marks. Most boring thing ever. And to make it worst Seth had decided to sit right next to Enna and Dee Dee.

"Enna!" I was very hyper and was bored of my computer so i was bugging her. "what you doing?"

"go back to your computer!" she said pushing me off of her chair.

"fine." i sat down and started typing Human Rights.  "how did i spell right wrong?"

"i dont know but did u spell wrong right?" Enna asked me. Oh she kills me sometime. We were all laughing really hard. Seth eyed me. Why was he sitting so close. Why did he have to watch me. Couldn't he just leave me alone like before?

"what's a good connection?" Dee Dee asked me.

"um lets see, connection?mhm i hate connections." i was usually pretty good at them but right now i couldn't think of anything.

"ugh your giving me a brain tumor!" she said.

"wow i'm sorry" she just started laughing.

"i'm just kidding"

"ok good" we both burst out laughing.

"shut up you guys!" Enna said through her teeth.

"sorry Enna" i said sheepishly. She just gave me a death glare.

By some miracle we were able to finish by the end of class. I couldn't wait to leave. Enna, Dee Dee, and I went to our lockers. And then headed out to the bus. Sofie, Alice, and Thisbe were already there. Audrey was coming later since she didn't go to our school.

We all took the bus to my house. Audrey was already there when we arrived. We all stay up late, talked, ate pizza, did manicures, and had the time of our life. We were all in the best mood, nothing brought us down even when the pizza man wasnt cute.  It's like everything bad in the world erased.

Seths pov

So it's friday and Sam has left to go party. I told him i didn't want to go so instead of being a good friend and staying with me, he just left me alone. Great friend i have there.

I decided it was a good enough time to text Brielle. "hey whats up?" i typed in and hit sent. I glanced at the time it was 8:56. She aways had her phone on her at this time.

But she didnt reply right away. So i decided to make some popcorn and watch a movie to past the time.

I remember the time we were at her house and she had made us popcorn. My popcorn wasnt anywhere as good as hers. I picked out a movie and put it in.

Sitting down on my couch in my small living room i checked my phone quickly before the movie. mhm She still hasn't reply..

"is everything ok?" just as i hit send my movie started.

My movie had ended. And i would never tell anyone but i was getting a little desperate. But i couldnt text her a third time because that would show desperation. It was 12:06 i was falling asleep. Damn Sam he couldn't have just stayed with me. At least i wouldnt be falling asleep if he was still here. I thought about texting him but he'd be to drunk to reply. With that thought i fell asleep on the couch holding my phone in my hand.  There i was asleep on the couch until around 1:34 the next day, when my phone finally vibrated, making me jump out of my deep sleep with a start.

Brielles pov

It was around 12:45, everyone was just leaving. They had all stayed to help clean. I seriously had the best friends in the world. I don't know how i would survive without them.

"thanks for such a great time." Enna said hugging me.

"thanks for coming!" i said hugging her back.

"no thank you!" everyone chorused at the same time. Oh they kill me sometimes. We all started laughing. After hugging everyone like two more times, everyone was finally on my porch. Waving Alice and Sofie climbed into the car waiting for them.

"bye thanks again" i yelled after them.

Then Enna's ride came followed closely by Dee Dees and Thisbe's.

"byeee!" i yelled as they all left.

"thank you so much Brielle" Audrey said hugging me tightly.

"see you soon Audrey!"

 I went inside to my now quiet house. I had to sigh. That was the best night id had in a long time.

I decided to watch a movie. I grabbed my favorite movie P.S. I Love You. I grabbed my phone and stuck the movie in.

"WHAT THE F***" i  screamed. Thank god no one was home. Seth had texted me. Really? Did he think we could just have a normal convo? Hes really doesn't see it does he? He thinks were still good. From his point of view, hes done nothing for me to be mad at. I don't want to be one of the bitches that gets mad at the guys and they have no clue why.

But at the same time. He's completely ignored me and never looks at me.

I let out a sigh. What do i tell him. I know my friends arent going to see this as the smartest move. Sofie's probably going to spaz on me.

"hey Seth, everything is fine." I mean it's not like everything was perfect, but at the same time it wasnt really bad either. I really didn't know why i was bending the truth. It just hurt to see him sad.

Well thinking of this, my phone lit up.

"oh good! I was worried you were mad at me." no Seth i'm not entirely mad at you.

"no i'm not. Don't worry so much." again the truth was bent.

"So i was wondering what your up to?" again he just goes off on a normal convo. It made me just a little confused.

"i'm watching my favorite movie, but other then that nothing."

"omg are you eating your carmel popcorn?" oh my gosh. Wow Seth.

"haha no. But i might make some, now that i think about it."

"i want some!"

"well i'm not bringing it to you!"

"be right there then" what? Hes must be kidding.

"haha very funny" he's great.

But just then i heard the door bell ring. I jumped!  OH MY GOD! I ran to the door. And pulled it open. The standing in front of me was Sam!!

"um Sam?" what the hell was he doing here?

"So i heard you and Seth hooked up!" WHERE THE HELL DID HE HEARD THAT? I havent talked let alone seen him in the last week.

"um yeah so where'd u hear that. Because someones believing the rumor mill." he didn't seem impressed.

"look Brielle, cut to the chase. He doesn't like you. He just likes having little secrets. You should just stay away from him. Or i will make you." and with that he left, leaving me there shocked unable to say a word, until my phone vibrated in my hand.

"no really can i come over?"

.... What the hell just happened. These boys are the most confusing things ever. Had that really just happened?

"if you think thats the best thing...."
