Chapter 17 - Forgot a Flashlight Like the Idiot I Am.

Chapter 17

Brielle pov

Seth pulled me up a little path through the woods behind our neighborhood. The path was small and the sun was setting making it harder to see.

We turned a corner in the path and i could see a light up ahead.

"Seth?" i questioned.

"just wait." he said.

"for what?" i didn't really no what to think.

"for that!" he said using his hand to move a branch out of the way.

We had come to the light now and as i looked passed the branch i saw a small clearing.

Seth stepped into the clearing pulling my with him. I couldn't help myself, i gasped at the site in front of me.

The small clearing overlooked downtown. Then city lights lit up in the night. The clearing itself was covered in moss and had about a hundred candles lighting it up. They hung from the trees and were placed on the rocks. In the center of it all was a small blanket.

"this is... I'm lost for words Seth." i tell him.

He chuckled. "thats the idea."

I lightly smack him.

"ow!" he grabs his arm faking pain. I roll my eyes at his childish antics.

"awe you poor baby, did i hurt you?"

"yes" he pouted.

I stop my smile. He just so cute when he's pouts.

"how can i ever make it up to you?" i ask me.

He raises his eyebrow and smirks at me.

"hmmm i can think of a few ways..." he trails off.

I lean into kiss him but he's already kissing me. I reach up and tangle my hands in his hair and tug lightly. He smiles into the kiss. His arms are rapped around me pressing me to him. His right hand travels down to my thigh and i rap my legs around him.

Without breaking the kiss he moves over to the blanket and sits down.

Seth pov

Kissing her is amazing. Nothing is better. But we had to stop eventually.

We were sitting in each others arms looking at the moon. Sitting in a comfortable silents.

"the moon, it's so pretty." Brie says, breaking the silents.

"yes." i agree, and we laps in to the silents again.

"What r u thinking about?" i finally ask her.

"How perfect this is." she's tells me looking up and smiling. I lean in a kiss her.

Then a thought hits me.

"did you mean what you said to Conner?" i ask her.

"of course! I would love to be his friend!" she tells me.

"not that part about you can't be with him bec ..."

"because I'm in love with you" she cuts me off.

"yes that. Is that true?" i ask her uncertain of her answer.

"of course it is. I love you Seth."

My heart leaped at these words.

"and i love you too!"

I say and kiss her again.

After sometime the night air rolls in and Brie starts shivering.

"Brie? Your shivering." i say.

"no I'm fine." i look at her raising my eyebrow.

"no your not. We need to get you back." i tell her.

"i know. I just didn't want this to end." she says quietly.

I laugh lightly. "I know neither do I."

I kiss the top of her head. Then stand up pulling her with me.

Slowly we make it home. Slowly because the woods are dark and i forgot a flashlight like the idiot I am.

"Seth I'm kind of glad you forgot a flashlight." Brie says reading my mind.

"and why is that?" i ask laughing.

"because i get to cling to you so i don't fall." she tells me.

"i don't think I'm ever bring a flashlight with us." i say.  She slaps my arm lightly.

Finally we make it to the road and back to her house. We're standing at her front door.

"thank you Seth." Brie whispers.

"for what?"

"the best first date ever."

"well it about to get better." i say and lean down to kiss her.

"your right it did." she smiles up at me after the kiss. "goodnight Seth."

"goodnight Brie." i send her my famous smirk.

I watch her open her door then close it behind her.

If guys could be on cloud 9 thats where I'd be right now.

I make it home and up to my room. Brie filling my mind blocking all other thoughts.

I lie in bed thinking of her until i fall asleep and dream of her.
