Chapter 6

Madison's POV

I was so infuriated with hearing the name of the hoe my mate used to be with. Especially, the fact she hurt her made me even more agitated. The only think relaxing me was Cassie's exhilarating scent, it had me going wild inside, but I had to keep my cool if she would willingly mate with me. Nathan's mind link disturbed my moment with Cassie.

"Cassie," Nathan got my attention.

"What!," I replied obviously irritated.

"Alpha Anthony has come by to talk to you."

"What does he want?"

"He won't say, he just keeps requesting to talk to you."

"Fine, just send Daniel and Brayden to my house to watch over Cassie."

"Okay, Alpha."

"Cassie," I started drawing circles on her cheek with my thumb, "I have some pack business I need to attend to."

She looked up at me and sat up, "What is it about?"

"Don't worry about it," I replied with a smile, trying not to get her involved in pack business, "I will send in my third in command and my most trusted wolf to look after you while I'm gone."

I stood up and she followed soon after me. I gave her a slight kiss on the cheek while she was caught off guard. When she realized she gave me a smile and dove in for my lips. I placed my hands on her hips, with her hands on my cheek. We kissed harmoniously, our lips just fitting together like puzzle pieces. Little sparks started at my lips slowly making their way down through my skin slowly turning me on. I can tell Cassie felt the same way because her hormones were just going crazy, her aroma was even more intoxicating than before. As I tried to pull away slowly Cassie keep capturing her lips with mines so I had to quickly pull away. All I did was whisper to her "later" and dragged my finger down her lips. She bit her lip and waved at me goodbye.

I met up with Daniel and Brayden at the front door. Having to rush out the door I just directed them to one rule.

"Alpha Madison," they greeted me in sync and bowed.

"I have to rush out, Cassie is in my room," I told them in my Alpha voice "Don't go in my room," I growled. "She will come out when she's ready."

I didn't give them a chance to speak by the time I made my way to the pack house. I got there around five minutes later to meet Anthony and Nathan with a few other wolves at the entrance. They all followed me when I walked in, but I told the other wolves to go home and let it just be Anthony, his beta, Nathan and I. I directed them towards my office in the pack house.

"It's about time you got here," he said helping himself and his beta to a seat, while I sat at my desk and Nathan pulled up a chair next to me.

"I was busy," I replied angrily.

"I see that. But I heard that you are defend Cameron in a war he is supposedly going to start."

I sat there speechless and let him continue. How did he find out?

"Madison, let's be real, you and me both know that Cameron is still a little pup, he isn't capable of fighting in a war. So just call it off with him, I'm not bothering your pack, so leave it alone."

"I already made a promise to him to back him up if he needs."

"But, you wouldn't want to put your pack in jeopardy," he took a breath "and your mate."

"What are you saying!," I was now standing up, slamming my hand on the table.

He laughed "When your pack goes in to fight, Cameron's pack will need all the help they can get which will end up leaving your mate vulnerable without any protection from your best wolves."

"I will fight alongside Cameron if he needs, I will not have you believe that you can take over any pack that isn't mine."

"Madison, don't act like you haven't done the same thing."

I gritted my teeth, "I saved those wolves from a cruel Alpha! Their mind was set on nothing but destruction."

"Okay Madison," he mocked, "Are you staying on Cameron's side or staying neutral?"

"I have to think about it," I sat down.

"Okay, give me an answer soon enough before it's too late."

I growled at his response.

"Nathan, tell one of the wolves to dismiss him."

He nodded and soon enough a wolf came and dismissed Anthony out my pack.

"Nathan, I don't know what to do. If I fight this battle with Cameron am I going against my own past doings?"

"No, not at all. You killed those Alphas because they were ruthless and had their mind on power instead of a welcoming life for their pack," Nathan started to rub my shoulder.

"I know, I know, but should I support Cameron or do what is better for the pack."

"Honestly Madison, at the end of the day whatever decisions you make for the pack will be on your hands, not his, he won't have to deal with the many mates who may have a broken heart because of this war they fought. So do whatever is in the best interest of your pack."

"I will, just let me sleep on it and I'll come up with a decision by tomorrow morning and I'll let my pack, Cameron and Anthony know."

"I think that's a good idea. You should start heading home and I'll lock up."

"Okay, goodnight," I rushed out not waiting to get home with Cassie.

Casarina's POV

After that sparking kiss with Madison, I decided to relax first after she left then go downstairs to greet my "babysitters." I went downstairs and saw two guys waiting for me in the living room. I guessed that they smelled me when I came down because they looked straight in my direction.

"Luna," they said in unison and bowed their heads.

"Oh no," I said shaking my head "Just call me Cassie."

"Alright Cassie," one of them said.

I made my way to the reclining chair and put it up to watch TV.

"What's your names?"

"I'm Brayden and this is Daniel," Brayden told me speaking up for the both of them.

"Cool, you don't wanna sit down?"

"Sure," Daniel was the first to sit on the couch.

"Help yourselves to anything in the fridge," I told them

"Okay," replied Brayden.

After a while, they started to bore me, they weren't talking or doing anything exciting. So I recommended we play "Would You Rather" and they agreed.

"Would you rather poop out 500 gallons of mayo or 1 knife," I started.

That earned me lots of laughs.

"I rather 1 knife," Daniel answered.

"Your butt is going to split in half if you do," I commented.

"You are so nasty, I rather poop out 500 gallons of mayo," Brayden told me.

While Brayden and Daniel kept arguing about which choice was better I was just in the background laughing my ass off. Seven questions and 2,000 laughs later Daniel, Brayden and I were dying of laughter until Madison came in. Out of no where everything became silent Madison quickly dismissed Brayden and Daniel, then dragged me to her bedroom as soon as they left.
