Chapter 11

Madison's POV

“What!,” I barked.

I gripped the couch with my claws extracting tearing apart the leather.

“Uh,” Brandon stuttered rubbing his head, “Daniel and I took Cassie for a stroll, and we got distracted and kind of lost her, we guess she wondered off.”

“You guess?!,” with every word he said I was only getting angrier.

“But we've already asked wolves to help find her and -,” Daniel tried to save him.

“It doesn't matter I gave you one rule!,” I could feel my canines now extending, “I told you to not leave this house!”

“Okay I know you're mad, but by screaming at us, isn't going to help find Cassie.”

Daniel was right, my screaming was getting us nowhere. I just howled to try and get some of my anger out. Then, I felt a sharp pain near my ribs. The pain caused me to have a seat on the couch.

“Alpha, are you okay?,” Brandon tried to reach out to me, but I snarled at him.

“I'm fine,” I said trying to wince out confidence.

The more I tried to stand, the more pain I felt. In my chest, on my arms, on my legs, in my stomach, soon I developed a headache and eventually my whole body was sore. I tried standing again and just fell. Daniel and Brandon tried to catch me before I fell to the ground and successfully laid me on the torn couch. All I could mutter out to them was for them to go find Cassie while trying to divert their questions about what was happening to me. To be honest I didn't even understand what was happening to me. Hopefully, by the time I see Cassie again I'll feel better.

Cassie's POV

Xavier and I walked to his house chatting, when we got there he took me up to his room. He picked me up holding the back of my knees and supporting my back while my hands were wrapped around his neck. He laid me on his bed and went to the other side to grab his iPod.

“Do you want to listen to music when we do it?,” he asked with a smirk on his face.

“I guess so,” I giggled.

I really didn't know what to expect, I've heard of straight sex, but I have never done it before. Xavier was sitting on the bed and looking at his iPod, I guessed he was adding music to his playlist. My mind weirdly wonder to think if he was big or small or if he even knew how to do it right. When he looked up from his iPod his eyes trailed up and down my body. I didn't know whether to make eye contact back, thinking it would awkward.

I could feel the bed level shift, so he would force the bed lower because after all he was heavier than me. He grabbed by waist and pulled me towards him so he could feel my whole body pressed up against him.

“I've been waiting for this moment for a long time,” he whispered in my ear.

That sent good shivers down my back.

I stood up and followed him to his bathroom. We both took a shower and his hands still couldn't stay off me, he was using a sponge and putting soap all over me, then grabbing the shower head and rinsing me off. I giggled throughout the whole shower until we got out and I got dressed again.

It wasn't until I saw the clock that I realized how much time I had spent with Xavier. I quickly left Xavier, but not before giving him a hug. I rushed back to the pack to see everyone in their wolf form. I quietly sneaked back towards Madison's house, to cruise through unseen.

Madison's POV

The pain was still throbbing when Daniel and Brandon came in the door about an hour and a half later.

“Sorry Alpha we haven't been able to find her yet, but there are still wolves looking,” Daniel told me.

I was still laying on the couch and I just shook my head, I had no energy to even scream at them anymore. Then, my door swung open and Cassie was standing in the doorway. Seeing her made my pain melt away instantly. I told Brandon and Daniel to call off the search party and dismissed them. I ran towards her hugged her tight and dug my nose in her neck to try to still smell my scent on her, since I marked her, but instead I smelled something else and I backed up off her still holding her arms.

“Who was you with?!,” I growled.

I had to remember that if I wanted to know anything from her I couldn't let my wolf out, I had to talk to her calmly.

“I'm sorry Madison, I trailed off from Brandon and Daniel to be by myself,” she explained.

“You're lying,” I growled at her, I could see it in her eyes, “What did you do?!”

I shook her.

“I walked around,” she replied.

I could still see the lie in her face. Then it hit me, the pain, her scent, the lies. She was with someone else. I dug my nose deeper in her neck and identified the smell as a human male. Anger started to well in me.

“Did you cheat on me?!,” I growled.

My claws started to extend going deeper in her arms. She couldn't even look at me straight in the eye, I knew she did. I let her go, almost pushing her down and muttered curses as I went upstairs to the bedroom.

As I was walking up the steps I heard her voice.

“Wait, Madison, I'm so sorry.”

I ignored her and went to my bedroom to get changed to go to bed. I felt her grip my shoulder.

“What!”

She looked frightened for a moment and she should be because I was utterly pissed.

“Just listen to me. Please Madison.”

“What?”

“I only did it because of how you treated me last night. I wanted to know if something was bothering you and you wouldn't tell me because you thought it was pack business. So I went to my friend to tell him how I felt about you and he offered me sex to relieve my frustration and I just agreed. I'm really sorry Madison. But also Daniel and Brandon drove me there so it is their faults too.”

“Don't try to divert my attention. At this point I really don't give a fuck about them. I'm more concerned about you. So, every time we get into an argument you are just going to go cry to your little boy toy? Did you forget the fact that we are mates Cassie! Do you know how much pain I went through because you did that! My whole body was sore. And I already told you, I do not believe in telling Lunas pack business, that is not your problem, it's mine. I don't want you to have to deal with that. Now I am going to sleep and you are going to shut up and find somewhere else to sleep because you are not sleeping in my bed. Save your bullshit excuses for the morning because I'm not hearing it tonight. Goodnight.”

She called out for me again and I just ignored her, put on my pajamas and went to bed. I could hear her footsteps leaving the room. As much as I wanted to drag her to my bed and seduce her to let her know who she belongs to. The hurt that she caused me outweighed that more. I have done nothing but tried to be the best mate. I've taken her out of stress related scenarios, I keep her safe and she still had the nerve to cheat on me. I can't even fathom why she would do that, all I hoped was that she was happy now.
