I slept soundlessly until Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley woke me up and told me to get my butt to the Great Hall. Although that was mostly Ginny. . . I rushed to the Great Hall with both of the girls, and I sat next to George, who was sitting with Lee Jordan. "Mornin' sleepy head. How was your night?" asked George.

"Good." I said back, and started eating. I felt someone's eyes burning into me, but I didn't look up. "Ooh, Fred! Take a picture!" screamed George. I looked up alarmed, and Fred's ear tips turned red. I blushed and continued eating. Ron, who was sitting next to me, snickered. "What?" I said. "What?" Ron asked, with food in his mouth. Hermione frowned, and said, "Ron, it's not polite to talk with your mouth full!" and slapped him with her book.

"Ow!" exclaimed Ron. It was my time to snigger. My first lesson was Transfiguration. I sat with Katie Bell, and another friend of mine, Merle Elise. Her nickname is Mouse. Katie's friend, Leanne, sat with us too. We tried transfiguring birds into bottles, and frogs into parchment. "Are you coming to The Mouse House this Christmas?" Mouse asked me. The Mouse House was what everybody who knew Mouse called her house.

"Dunno. I might be going to The Burrow." I said. "Oh." she giggled. "What?" I asked. Mouse shook her head. "Merle Elise, you tell me right now!" I said. "I notice how you look at him." Mouse said. "Who? Look at who?" I asked cluelessly. "One of the Weasleys." said Mouse grinning. "Who? Ron? Ginny? George? Fre-" I stopped mid-pause at Fred's name.

Mouse started ginning madly, and said, "Hehe. Yep." I blushed and said, "I do not like Fred!!" Mouse just ignored my last protest. Next class was Potions. Snape made us make a potion that smelled of Spearmint, and had a dark purple tint. Since the 6th and 7th years had classes together, I kept gazing over at Fred.

"I knew it!" Mouse practically screamed. I jumped, and Snape turned and scolded Mouse. I scowled and said, "What?" Mouse looked at me as though it was obvious. "I knew that you like Fred." said Mouse. I frowned a little. "I don't like Fred. We're just friends." I said. "Yeah, but you two've known each other forever. Since you were a 1st year and he was a 2nd year. Since you were a 2nd year and he was a 3rd year. Since you were a 3rd year and he was a 4th year. Since you were a 4th year and he was a-"

"Okay, okay, I get it." I huffed. "But we're just friends." Mouse looked at me and said, "Sure." I frowned and continued. Next class was Charms with Professor Flitwick. We learned a new spell, Levicorpus. Later, past the time everyone was sleeping, I borrowed Harry's Invisibility Cloak, and snuck out.

I managed to get into the library, and I found a strange book. It stood out to me. I took it out and looked at the cover. Special Magical Condition by Cathira Brook, the title read. I opened the book to a random chapter that caught my attention. Ellois Oculus: Ellois Oculus is a Special Magical Condition in which the witch or wizard who is injected with it, can morph into mutiple types of animals. The witch or wizard does not have to be able to transfigure theirselves or be an Animagus. This condition can come naturally without being able to be a Qualified Animagus. Ellois Oculus is a rare condition, and few witches or wizards are placed upon this.

I snapped the book shut when I heard someone tottering nearer. A few seconds later, Filch the Caretaker, was coming around a shelf with a lantern in his hands, and his cat, Mrs. Norris, at his side. Filch smiled a nasty grin, and said, "Looks like we're in trouble aren't we?"
