Michael wakes up in his bed.

Wasn't I in Jeremy's room...? Michael thinks, confused.

Still, he gets up and walks out of his room and in the kitchen. Jeremy isn't in the living room or kitchen, so Michael assumes he's still sleeping. He grabs frozen toaster waffles and puts two in the toaster.

While waiting for his toaster waffles, Michael found himself reviewing everything that happened yesterday.

I was so... dramatic... I can't believe I actually told him... I can't believe he kissed me... I guess he did put Christine in the past, though. Michael chuckles to himself. Everything's just... going his way.

It almost seems like everything has been going too much in Michael's favour...

Maybe my luck is just turning around... Michael smiles at that thought, but is quickly distracted by the toaster waffles popping up.

Before he could grab them, someone knocks on the door. Michael sighs, for it was way too early for human interaction.

Still, he runs his fingers through his hair and walks over to the door.

"Yea?" He opens the door and asks. He looks at the girl standing in front of him and almost screams.

Her all too familiar dark hair and facial features that Michael hated about her. She was just so damn perfect.

    Christine...

She smiles worriedly, almost as if she knew she didn't belong here.

Which, in that retrospect, she was right. She didn't belong here, and her having the guts to come back from wherever she's going to college made Michael upset.

"Hi, Michael," she says, keeping that smile on her face. She seems tentative, like Michael was about to start yelling at her face.

Michael stays where he stood and crossed his arms, yelling at her was a thought, but his curiosity of why she came back makes him resist.

    "Christine.." Michael says in response.

"I know you must be mad at me, but please, let me explain everything and keep an open mind; I never wanted to hurt Jeremy."

"Well, you did!" Michael retorts, "You may have made him happy, and he may have loved you for longer than you would've ever known, but you fucking hurt Jeremy! And now you have to live with that! I don't wanna hear your sob story oh why everything happened the way they did! Cuz I don't care! Now leave."

Her smile faded, leaving a guilty look on her face, "Micha-"

"Leave.." Michael could only assume his facial expression is very sinister and angry, and he's right. Jeremy means so much to him, and the fact that Christine thought that she could hurt Jeremy, and then come back into his life made Michael pissed.

    She nods, "Okay... I understand.."

    She turns away, but-

"C-Christine...?" Jeremy says. Michael couldn't tell Jeremy's feelings about seeing Christine through his voice. He turns around to look at Jeremy, and his facial expression isn't all too helpful, either.

"Jeremy.." Christine says and she runs over and hugs him.

He blushes and hugs her back.

"Jeremy... I missed you so much! I shouldn't've ever broken up with you!"

Michael's heart sinks, and a lump forms in his throat. He couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions.

Mostly, Michael feels sad. He feels like Jeremy still loves Christine and Jeremy only kissed him to make him feel better. He feels a sense of betrayal, like Jeremy just used Michael to feel happy because Christine was out of his life.

Michael feels the tears well up in his eyes and roll down his cheeks. He turns to the door of his dorm and runs away.
