||Sadness: causing or characterized by sorrow or unhappiness: unfortunate or regrettable."

With the slamming of the door, Arabella's frustration and anger grew more with his treachery.

She loathed that she was in his clothes, she ripped off the sweatpants and put on one of her's. The ripped material of the King's pants were torn forcefully to the floor.

The door reopened to revealed Arabella's mother, looking solemn.

"How much did you hear?" Arabella said turning away and placing her hand on her head.

"I didn't hear anything. Arabella, what happened?" Her mother asked quietly.

"He told me the stupid, unnecessary reason why I was rejected as an Alpha." Arabella said bitterly.

"And why is that exactly?" Her brother, Benjamin said entering the room with her father.

"Some stupid feud between our ancestors." She breathed out angrily.

"Tell me exactly why." Her father said slowly.

"Apparently, grandfather Malachi killed his aunt and his brother vengefully had me denied as alpha so the pack could be ruined!" She said slowly, as she got worked up again and before picking up a glass on the nightstand and pelting it across the room and against a wall, shattering into a hundred pieces of shards.

"Or at least that's what he told me." She said angrily.

"What?" Her father said.

"And guess what? We can't do anything about it because he is the king." Arabella said bitterly.

"I swear to god I'm gonna kill him." Benjamin shouted about to storm out the room.

"Benjamin! Don't!" She hollered at him.

"Why shouldn't I?" He said.

"Unless you want to start a war between these two packs, I suggest you don't. It doesn't matter anyway."

"Why not? Of course it matters." Benjamin said.

"The pack doesn't deserve to be dragged into a war. I want them to feel safe."

"Arabella, you should know, the pack has been revolting. They want you as alpha." Her silent father finally speaking up.

"What?" She whispered.

"They've been rebelling, they want you as their leader. They're willing to fight the king." Her father said.

"No. This is what is going to happen. You will return to North America and you will tell the pack I found my mate and that I'm happy. I just need to figure where I'll go from here"

"And what will happen to you?" Her mother said.

"I don't know yet. I was planning on accepting him later but now, I'm not sure anymore."

"You haven't accepted him as your mate yet, and you don't have to right now. You can go stay with your aunt in South America for a while." He mother said.

"He doesn't have to know where you're going." Benjamin said.

"I'll think about it. I'm not sure how he'll react." Arabella said.

"I don't think she's well enough to travel. I spoke to the doctor earlier, he said you're not doing well." Her mother said looking at her sick daughter's pallid skin and sunken eyes.
