Broken

"What the fuck is going on?" I yelled at them.

Nikki and Cameron both stopped and jerked around looking at me, both wide eyed and surprised. I threw Nikki's bra in her face, glaring at them both.

"Wow my so called best friend and boyfriend! Have fun screwing each other because I'm done. I am done!" With that I turned and walked out of his bedroom door.

I heard Cameron staggering out of his room and grabbing onto my wrist, turning me towards him.

"Kat it's not what you think!" He said putting a hand on my cheek.

I slapped him as soon as he touched me, "Cameron shut up! You weren't just fucking my former best friend in there?"

He let me go and grabbed his red marked cheek looking at me surprised.

My inner self smiled as I felt the palm of my hand start to sting. I wasnt like this, I wasnt the type to slap someone because I was angry.

I hate him for making me feel this way, for making me feel broken.

His dirty blonde hair that is cut short around the sides with longer hair on top was one of his features I always thought was sexy but now looking at it all untamed, all I wanted to do was vomit. I started to walk away again but was stopped by him grabbing me and turning me towards him.

"Kat.. I.. I love you, I am still in love with you. Please forgive me, I don't know what I was ever thinking."

Before I could reply Nikki came out of the bedroom only wearing Camerons T-shirt and her panties.

"Oh Cameron stop acting like this was the first time. We have been sleeping together behind Kats back for the last couple of weeks." She said now looking at me almost as if she was pleased that I finally knew.

I stopped, they have what..for how long?

I was beyond shocked and soon realized I walked over to Nikki and punched her dead center in the nose. She moaned as she covered her hands over her bloody face and fell down on the floor.

"How could you? How could either of you do this to me?" I said as I looked at Cameron then back to Nikki.

Nikki just laughed and said, "come on Kat you really never noticed? Oh well I guess it would of happened sooner or later that we would get caught."

She flinched as she touched her nose and continued with, "You surprise me Kat, I would have never taken you for a girl who knows how to hit." She wiped some of the blood off of her face and walked over to Cameron kissing him on the cheek.

I was so confused, who was this girl and why was she being such a bitch?

Cameron pushed Nikki off of him and said, "Nikki shut the hell up! Kat listen lets get out of here and talk. Just the two of us.. Please I don't want to lose you."

I glared at them both and replied, "Cameron you lost me the moment you slept with this slut!"

I turned and hurried out the door before either one of them could stop me again. I was crying now, I couldn't see anything in front of me. I yanked my buzzing phone out of my pocket and pressed the power off button, I then hurried out towards the busy street in New York City and whistled for a cab. I jumped in before it ever stopped and yelled, "Adams place please and step on it!"

My parents walked into my room after standing outside of my door listening to me cry and asking to come in. When I never replied they opened the door and both swarmed over to me, hugging me.

"Kat, please tell us what is going on?" My dad said looking at me very worried.

My mom wiped away some of the tears that were falling down my cheeks and said, "yes honey, whatever happened you can tell us."
