Chapter 3: A Fateful Meeting Between Friends And Lovers

To continue our story and a following with our character, Azwelitia, well, this is a good place to start. It was the morning of the anniversary of Azwelitia's mother's death; and Azwelitia was cleaning her grottle and then cooking an afternoon meal. A huge fire in a colonial world style oven was heating her meal. This oven also kept her home warm during the winter months when the temperatures dropped well below zero. She had done this every day, but today was an unusual day. On this day, Azwelitia was going to have an unusual meeting and this encounter would change her life forever. What would happen? Well, who knows? We will read on to find out.

The meal that Azwelitia was cooking was a Japanese lunch that she learned to cook while she was traveling abroad in Japan. She was cooking a yummy Yankiniku with Ramen, Tsukemono, Kare Raisu or Curry Rice and Dorayaki. All these things smelled and looked yummy. The Yankiniku is grilled beef that had been seasoned with special Japanese seasonings, and the Ramen were Chinese noodles that were introduced to Japan a many long years ago, but was a special Tonkotsu Ramen soup, her Kare Raisu or Curry Rice was cooked with a Japanese curry sauce served with additional toppings such as tonkatsu. The Pickled side dish or Tsukemono was also grilled. The last thing she had cooked was a very scrumptious Dorayaki. It was pancakes with bean paste.

After all this was done, she stomped into an extraordinary room where something very special was kept. It was so very distinctive, and no one knew about this item. It was Azwelitia's mother's dress that had been handed down to her. She rarely ever wore it and someday she would. If she got the chance.

The dress reminded her of days when she would play in a huge sunny, marshmallowy type of yard. This yard was part of a family home known as the Calidrago Castle. It had been home to many full blood and half-blood dragons up until Azwelitia. There was a long will, but since this was the 21st century and also there was another family that had lived in the castle and they were the royal family's council and ancient will readers known as the Dwahatibas and they also had many descendants.

However, on this day, in May, on a warm sunny Thursday the 25th, in the year of 2011, in the country of France, the Calidrago Castle was to be auctioned off for a billion dollars. Because Hardwyn (the last of the Dwahatibas and soon to be meeting our character Azwelitia, the last of the French Calidragons; Even she did not know that her childhood home was up for sale;) was about to have a chance meeting with a girl that he knew nothing about and was about find out all about his lineage.

Back to the room, Azwelitia, and the dress. The dress, that she was looking at, was, yes, a princess's dress. It was purple, with a weird circular crown. It also had golden trim and ribbon. And there was a magical wand that went with it.

She wept for the fact that none of the human boys in school would take her to the dance, which was months away. She already knew that she was a monster and that they were afraid of her. She would never get a chance to wear her dress. The dance was the only time she could be like the other kids in school. She wanted to be more human. She knew that she was a halfa.

Her mother, Shimea, was the only person that up until now that had stayed alive from her youth. Her father and most the family had died in Azwelitia's youth because of a sickness. However, because Azwelitia and Shimea were different, they were able to survive the sickness. Her mother, Shimea, was one of many Calidragons that was born to a full-blooded Calidragon, was herself a full-blooded Calidragon. Her father was human and was allowed to live in the Calidrago Castle because he was at the time of his service a Castle guard. He served as one of its soldiers to its army. The royal Calidragons and the soldiers were not allowed to be seen together as there was misconception of if they were to fall in love the relationship would end up ending badly. Azwelitia's mother, Shimea had fallen in love with one of the soldiers, a human named, Xous, who was very strong and handsome. He was a local German soldier who had been recruited from another country. His homeland was that of the country of Germany during the medieval times. Azwelitia was born on December 24th in the 1125. She was 891 years old. She looked like she was 17 years old. She might have looked young for her age; however, she was very ancient. She had lived through many wars and technological changes that world had experienced in the many, many years that she had lived. Her brother Chyzakus was born of different parentage however, their mother was still the same. The father was different. Chyzakus's father was a full-blooded Calidragon by the name of Naruallo the wise. Naruallo was the wisest Calidragon that ever lived, and he guided the Calidragons with his wise teachings and decision making. He always turned to his friends the Dwahatibas, for help if he could not explain something. One of those Dwahatibas, was man that went by the name of Jarraeles and was Naruallo's very good friend as they fought in the Great Holy Ancient Demon Wars together when they had taken place. Naruallo, Shimea, Xous, Jarraeles, and all their other friends that had fought together during the Great Holy Ancient Demon Wars and were considered heroes even though they could only place the malicious Tut and Laeros under a sleeping spell. They were not able to defeat them. They had not the power nor the weaponage to defeat these demons and their armies. The world would need a miracle if the evil Tut and Laeros were to be defeated. And that miracle may come in the form of a Calidragon named Azwelitia and a human named Hardwyn, who was himself a Dwahatiba. The main story is getting away from us. We are forgetting that Hardwyn is making a trip to see our heroine, Azwelitia. Let's get back to that story.
