When we left the last chapter, Tut gave Hardwyn an offer that he could not refuse. Tut had asked Hardwyn to meet him at the old Charter Oak tree that stood in the middle of Hartford, Connecticut, by sundown. When Tut made the offer, he made it as a kind, elderly old man. However, Hardwyn did not recognize that this old man was actually his archenemy, Tut, the Kludde demon. In fact, Tut had confused and confuddled him by coming up with the clever disguise. He knew that Hardwyn had to have already made up his mind by the time he met him at the old Charter Oak tree in the center of Hartford, Connecticut. There was only one issue with the plan that would cause a hiccup in the perfect magic sale of the century. Hardwyn would have to give up his soul and somehow, someone had figured out what was going on and was trying to stop the sale. Who was this person that was trying to stop this magic sale? Who would prevent the evil Tut from owning a perfect human that he knew that he could control and not only that had the weapon that he, Tut, had longed to have it in his possession for many millennia, but couldn't because the owners had originally hidden it in a secret forest where they stabbed it into a stone, and whereby the sword could only be pulled out by its true owner; so who would try to stop his perfect sale of having this human? He had come so close to having a human that had magical abilities beyond any that humans were capable of. So, who would try something so dangerous? Who, but Azwelitia.
She wanted to be able to live with her fiancé as he was and not some controlled zombie. She knew that if Hardwyn gave up his soul to the malicious evil Tut, she could no longer live with him. Tut and Laeros had a way of taking the souls of everyone they kidnapped, and those people and demons never came back. In essence they were never seen or heard from again. They were considered dead by their friends and families. In Azwelitia's case, she did not want to lose Hardwyn since he had made a promise that she knew that he had to keep because they were going to be parents. And not only that she needed him at this point, because she knew that her time of transition was upon her and she knew that the other demons would find out about her weakness because her power was radiating throughout the demon realm. She was in danger and so was the unborn child. She needed to be protected at this point. However, she never had shown herself to anyone except her brother. She loved to be the center of attention; however, she knew that if she shown herself to the world while she was in human form, she would be killed. This was something that could kill her if she went searching for Hardwyn at this point, however, the only other person that could search for him was their friend Mali and his faithful pet, Chiryu. However, it was too dangerous for the both of them to go outside.
But then, as Azwelitia was going to get prepared for the journey to find her fiancé, a gust of wind and light brushed past both her and Mali. What was this wind and light? Was it a bird? Was it another dragon? What was it? They knew that not a single soul lived this deep in the demon realm as this part of the demon realm was a forbidden part of the demon realm and no one could enter except those that this forest accepted like the half-demon Azwelitia. This forbidden forest was a haven to those that were outcasts in all other parts of the demon realm and other worlds, including the human realm. And since Azwelitia had no other family except for her brother, she lived here for most of her life. But now she was not living alone. She had a companion living with her, her fiancé Hardwyn, was living with her, and that made her very happy. The story of how he started to live with her will be told later. But to continue the story being told, we need to learn who this unknown visitor is. Should we learn about this visitor by starting a new chapter? Would you like to know what interactions go on between the visitor and our two heroes? I am wanting to learn of this visitor. I will want to see who she is and what happens between the two heroes. Let's jump into another chapter. Let's begin a new page.
