When the door opened, my green eyes were met with his green ones. He stared at me for the longest time. "Wow, Christine you look... beautiful." He told me smiling. "Thank you." I smiled back at him. "Are you ready to go?" He asked me still smiling. Before I could say yes, Becca shoved me out the door and locked it. I could hear both of them giggling through the front door. I stepped down the porch and he grabbed my hand. I smiled to myself and looked up slightly to see he was smiling too. We walked hand in hand to the Nightly Double. As soon as we got there we got popcorn and soda. We sat down and watched the movie. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Dallas making out with Dani. I snickered to myself because they were earning a bunch of dirty looks from adults. I turned my attention back to the scary movie. As I watched it started to get a little scarier than I was used to. I was only used to watching things that were a little more scary than usual but this was super scary. I continued watching it when all of the sudden this ugly clown pops onto the screen. I jumped all the way into Steve's lap. "Whoops, sorry about that." I said as I went to go sit back on my chair, but his arms had already made their way around my waist, holding me in place. I smiled to myself and continued to watch the movie.
When the movie was over, we stood up and started walking. Dallas and Dani were in an alley way and they weren't doing a very good job of staying quite. Steve grabbed my hand and we walked the rest of the way home. He kept telling me stories about all the rumbles he's been in, and I told him stories about all the gang fights I was in back in New York. When I got home I turned back to Steve and and he looked at me. I stepped forward and kissed his cheek. I pulled away and left a big red stain where I kissed him. "Goodnight Steve." I giggled and walked up the steps. He just stood there with a stupid grin on his face. I walked into the house and immediately I was bombarded with questions.
