Episode One

"Power, one dream we all have. But power is something to be lightly used, those who use it...may fly too close to the sun."

Two million years ago...

The planet Reiko, grey and blue. Hints of green. Reiko sat in the Reiko system, the most populated planet in the system. Below were great temples and stone cities made of beautiful rocks and had decorative paint and diverse logos. Thousands of citizens gathered as special warriors and a king approached a temple. They kept chanting their king's name. Upon the group entering the temple. Several human guards stood with the alien guards in the temple. "Lord Ryke of the Vong!" The outside inhabitants kept yelling. A species a galaxy away had arrived, the vong, and built this galaxy its civilization. Ryke, ruler of the vong had now controlled thousands of planets. His rule became one of danger, and his uninterrupted name chants made his rule more powerful.

"Now dies." A guard said thrusting his blade into a warrior causing a massive fight in the main chamber. The humans and Ryke's men began to clash. Their blades locking as the outside soon grew aware. The vong warriors outside were attacked by multiple people also. Projectiles flew everywhere as a vong ship flew overhead. Inside a human fighter was, taking control of the ship and ramming it in the temple...Ryke slowly buried in his throne. He closed his eyes waiting for his return to come, knowing it would.

"And that's why I say we devise a council amongst our fairly large remaining armies and fleets." Nark said to Straze. The two sat across from one another at a table in a large grey room. White wall lights giving the room a glow.

"Director, you're right." Straze sighed.

"In the event our Emperor died, every force in this sector would become yours." Nark reminded. Straze brushed her hair back nodding. "Commander, I'm aware of your stress." Nark said.

"I didn't expect this to all happen so fast." She said resting her forehead in her palm.

"One day you wake up with something and go to bed missing it." Nark said.

"The Emperor saved my system from destruction by droid weapon tests." She said looking up. "How can I even repay him?" She asked. "Honor him." Straze clarified.

"Well, I urge we make a non aggression with the New Republic." Nark said.

"You mean the Rebellion?! Those murderers!" Straze shouted.

"Commander, commander." Nark tried to calm Straze.

"Sorry, sorry." She said. "To lose less lives, that'd be the best plan of action." Straze said.

"It's all okay." Nark replied as Paz entered the room.

"Hello Commander, Director." Paz said.

"General." Straze smiled. "Nark told me that old tale of the Vong to use as a point." She chuckled.

"My favorite story as a child." Paz replied.
