--At the hospital--
Marissa's POV
I walked out of the room and saw Jake rushing down the hall. "Where'd Logan go?" I asked, "I think he got a business call he said he'd be right back" Lizzy said. "Lizzy do you have plans later?" I asked her. "I was going to stay here with Gray" she said. "Ok that's fine" I said managing to smile. Just then I got a message from Logan.
From Logan:
Hey babe sorry I had to leave manager Jeff called and said I have a meeting in 20 minutes and it's mandatory
To Logan:
It's fine I'll see if Jake will take me home
From Logan:
Ok talk to ya later
I put my phone in my pocket and walked up to Jake. "Hey" I said and noticed he was crying. "Oh my bad I just have a question" I said. "Ok" he said trying not to cry. "You know sometimes it's good to cry" I said comforting him in a hug and he laughed. "Well my question is do you mind dropping me home?" I asked. "No, anything for my little sis" he joked. "Technically I'll be twenty in a few months" I laughed back. Jake was like the brother I never had he was like a bestfriend to me.
Then the nurse came out of the room. "I'm so sorry but after Ethan's surgery visitors aren't going to be allowed until a few hours after" she said. "It's ok can you please call me when I can come back?" Grayson asked. "Absolutely" the nurse said walking back in.
"I have a few errands to run before I get to your apartment" Jake told me. "That's cool I like hanging out with my 'big brother' " I said with air quotes and he smiled.
When we got to Jake's truck he asked, "hey are you hungry?" "Yeah I didn't eat breakfast" I said. After a few minutes of driving we stopped at a Chick-fil-a. When we got out of the truck some of his fans ran up to him and asked for pictures and autographs. I smiled and headed towards the door. After like 2 minutes Jake came in while I was about to order. Then he ordered and payed for our food. When we sat down at the table I said, "you know you didn't have to pay right." "It's ok I wanted to" he smiled.
When we got into the car I got a bunch of tweets saying, 'Jake and Marissa at Chick-fil-a' and 'Are they dating' I commented on one saying 'Guys were just bestfriends'. Then she freaked out because I replied, it instantly got thousands of retweets. Then I noticed Jake posted a picture of us at Chick-fil-a too. The caption was 'Lunch with my bestfriend @Marissa1' I laughed.
When Jake dropped me home I was so tired I went to bed. I was woken up because someone was calling me. When I looked at the caller ID it was Logan.
Conversation between Marissa/M and Logan/L:
M: Hello?
L: Hey, I'm sorry did I wake you?
M: Yeah, but it's fine
L: Oh I'm sorry I was calling to see if I could come over
M: Are you bringing Kong
L: No he's with Ayla
(I rolled my eyes)
M: Ok whatever you can come
L: Ok see you soon
M: OK
--call ended--
From Jake:
Hey how come you never visit the team 10 house?
To Jake:
What do you mean?
From Jake:
Everyone misses you mostly the girls
To Jake:
Ok I'll go over tmrw
From Jake:
Oh I'll tell everyone cya later
To Jake:
Ok
After about 5 minutes I heard a knock on my door I was expecting to see Logan. But it was just Lizzy and Grayson. "Why'd you knock?" I asked her, "my key is somewhere in my bag but I didn't want to look for it" she said. I laughed but she seemed exhausted, "So Logan is coming ov-" I was interrupted by a knock on the door. I went to open it and there he was then Lizzy pulled my arm. "What's wrong?" I asked her, "can I please tell Grayson everything Ethan was to scared to do it" she begged. "Yeah sure" I said as she smiled and walked away.
"Hello" Logan said to me with a smile. I wanted to tell him everything I just didn't know how to tell him so I just smiled.
Logan stayed over for a few hours and we played video games. After he and Grayson left I called Lizzy and Alex into the living room. "I have an announcement" I said super excited. "Please tell me it's a vacation because I really need one" Lizzy said and me and Alex laughed. "Well for your birthday Lizzy, Logan, Alex, a few friends, and I are going to Hawaii" I shouted. "Omg!!!" her and Alex said at the same time which was so weird. "Also the trip is next week so you should start packing" I added.
