The Blow Horn woke me from my glorious sleep once more. My eyes flicked open and i slowly stretched and leisurely walked down the stairs to the coffee counter. I made Yuki's first then megs. Since Yuki had joined our little group and expressed her love of coffee i had made her a special mixture that she is now currently very fond of. I finished meg's and trotted upstairs to find the pair snuggled in their sleeping bags snoozing soundly. I gently placed the ambrosia of the morning sun beside meg on the table and carried yuki's firmly in my hand. I stepped on the ladder and rubbed the coffee's aroma under yuki's nose. She groaned for a moment then pulled off her headphones and gently tried to grab the cup.
"Nope. you have to get up to get it." I hopped up and scurried across the room and placed it on the farthest table. "Gotta get up to get it." i smirked.
I went over to find meg's cup completely empty and her still buried in pillows. I crossed my arms and tapped my foot. "Meg, do you know what today is?"
Her blankets rustled and he groaned. I can not believe she forgot. The one day she wants to sleep in... "Its morn.abrosiaaaaa of da mork spun. No works..." She began to lightly snore.
Not working... I was confused i leaped down the stairs and skidded to the coffee machine. I looked for the coffee turning the cupboards and draws apart. I found it. My eyes bugged out in shock. Decaffeinated. Uh oh. I quickly found the counselor. "Hey what happened to the regular coffee?"
"Oh good morning Lia! Sorry we ran out." She smiled and went about her business.
Not good not good! Of all the days it had to be today.I bolted back upstairs and yuki had found her coffee and was sipping it happily. Meg still drowsy and curled in her bed.
"What's a matter lia chan?" yuki asked leaning on a bunk.
"The coffee is not caffeinated." I said very panicked.
Yuki looked at meg then back at me. "No... and today is!?" she covered her lips in shock. A little coffee spilling out.
"Yes." I looked over at a lazy floppy meg arm scrape its knuckle on the ground. "Meg."
"wha?" She groaned. It seemed she developed a case of bird nest bedhead.
"You no coffee. We lose game. You never beat Liam." i point blankly said.
Suddenly she sat up and tried to crawl out of bed but she just flopped on the floor. "Need.help." she yawned. She reached up to me and yuki with all her strength. "Please.Help." She then went limp.
"NO! Meg please don't die!" Yuki fell to her side and held her in her arms.
"Natsu? Is that you?" she faked a cry.
"No meg don't go into the light!" Yuki acted.
"Okay enough with the bad acting, we will get you coffee at breakfast. Now get your butt in gear. We have a game to win." I helped her up and tossed the red, black, and orange uniform on her bunk. She picked it up and pulled it on. She gelled her hair back looking aerodynamic to the max.
"What if breakfast doesn't have coffee? How will we?" Yuki was cut off by a voice and face i had not seen the "incident of 2013"
"I will play without it." Meg said paining on her tiger stripes.
"WHAT?!" Me and yuki said simultaneously.
"I want to whip him without caffeine driven muscles and mind" Meg without coffee i would say is a force to not to mess with, a sleeping tiger if you wish. I mean isn't bree supposed to be the calm one, that can secretly kill you? Meg led us out the door and on our way out bree met us along the path to breakfast. She looked different with a strange grey beanie and no spectacles.I thought she hated hats.. Our little group matched all in our uniforms and we looked good. The teams were all lined up under their colors. Old favorites popped in my view. The lone sharks. The cuddly puppies of course. Scorched dragons. Ladies of the fifth. Red alphas. One eyed monster. More like band names then anything.
