Chapter 25

Mike Pov

"Umm.... Because she wanted to be closer to the school she wants to go to for collage." Jessica said smiling. I can tell she is leaving something out.

"Really. Why didn't she go to one of our schools here. They're good too." Lily said.

Jessica tried to think of something fast. "Fine Let's call her. She should be walking to her next class by now."

"Yay!!" Lily said getting her way.

Jessica took out her phone and started dailing. It rang a couple times before she answered.
(S-Sarah, J-Jessica, M-Mike,L-Lily)

S- Hey sis. I'm in class. I lied about going to the bathroom. So what's up.

J- Hey Lily wants to talk to you.

S- Put her on the phone.

L- Sarah is it true you just left for school?

S- Y-yes why?

L- Because I think you left because of big brother.

S- N-no. Look I have to go tell Mike 'Hi' for me.

L- Wait.

S- Bye Lily and Jessica.

J and L- Bye.

Jessica hung up and looked at me with anger. "Why didn't you say something. You like her but you don't talk to her. Why the hell does she like you when you can't even talk to her." She then covered her mouth. "Sorry. And I wasn't suppose to tell you she liked you."

"I kissed her remember and-" I covered Lily's ears. "Sleep with her."

"Ugh.... Your right. I'll call her after school for her. You come over without anyone." Jessica said.

I nod my head and took Lily home. I sat there thinking of Sarah. I blushed at the thought of her. All the memories. All the fun time. Even the fights. I remember in 7th gradewhen we first started talking.

"Hey Sarah. What class do you have next?" I said. She looked at me. I saved her from being bullied a couple weeks ago but she still gets bullied.

"Hi. Um..... Cooking class." She said in a whisper. I grabbed her arm and took her there.

"We have class together so lets sit close." I said smiling.

"Sure." Is all she said. She nevered really smiled much until....

"Alright class. You have to work in partners. You have to make a cake. Any kind. Since this is an extra credit class." Mrs. Jeens said.

I smiled at Sarah who was looking at me. She looked away blushing of embarrassment. I chucked and asked to be partners. She said yes.

After we took it out of the oven we decorated it. She looked at putting some frosting in my mouth. I looked at her and got the frosting. I put a mustache on her face. She was in shocked as I laughed. She then got her frosting and made a unibrow. She then laughed as we started to draw on each other faces. We were done with the cake anyways.

That was the first time I saw her smile, I thought. She was beautiful when she smiled. I smiled at my thoughts when I remember the first time she kissed my cheek as friends though.

It was raining and no one picked us up. They said it was going to be hard to walk in the rain. We were the last two kids. Sarah use to be afraid of thunder. Whenever that happened she would hold me tight. She said I was like her hero. We decided to look around the school with her holding my hand. We got to the office but no one was there. We remembered there was a meeting.

"Mike. What if they forgot our existence? You'll be forgotten like me." She said. I looked at her. I pulled her in for a hug. Tears started to go down her cheeks.

"No one forgot you. I didn't forget you existed when we meet. So please promise me to not talk like that ever again. Promise." I said.

"I-I promise." She said. We found someone to take us home. It was our teacher, Mrs Lungblood. She was going to drop me off first. Me and Sarah stayed in silence.

She looked at me and kissed me on the cheek. I looked at her wide eyed.

"What was that for?" I asked looking away.

"To show how thankful I am to meet you. You're like my Guardian Angel." She said smiling. We sat in comfortable silence until I got dropped off.

I can't believe I met someone so wonderful and beautiful. She's everything. Why didn't I kniw it sooner. Something broke my thoughts and memories. I look to see Lily. She was about to open her mouth but closed it. She walked up to me and got into the bed with me, still looking at me.
