I decided to call Daxton from the shop, whilst Sam and Dean went to go find out some more information. The phone rang for a while before he finally picked up.
'Hey! How are you?' He asked.
'Hey Dax! Im good. I miss you though!'
'I miss you too! Hows things going with your brothers?' He asked. I could hear beeping and chatter in the background from his side.
'Urm, good. I've definately missed them, and we seem to be getting on well. And your sister?' I asked back.
'Urm.. well. She was rushed into hospital as she collapsed all of a sudden. They did a few tests and the results came back positive for lukemia' he explained. I could here the hurt in his voice.
'Oh Dax. I'm so sorry!' I said bringing my hand to my mouth.
'I'm gonna stay with her for a while if thats okay. I couldnt bare the thought of leaving her with the rest of my so called family'
'Of course! Take all the time you need. I love you Dax!' I said, trying to sound as upbeat as possible.
'Love you too, A' he replied.
I could hear that he had been sobbing. The tiredness and saddness radiated through the phone.
'Do you want me to come to you? Stay with you?' I asked, attempting to think of anything to make this situation even remotely better for him.
'Dont be silly. You have to find your Dad' he answered.
'Okay. I'll call you later. Be safe. Stay strong.'
I grabbed some chocolate and a bag of cheesy cheetos.
'Bye Arya' he said as he hung up the phone.
I closed my eyes and ran my hand through my hair. I feel awful for not being there for my best friend when he needs me the most. But he's right. I have to find my dad.
Suddenly, my phone starts to ring again. This time, its Dean.
'Hey, everything okay?' I ask, answering the phone.
'Yeah. Head to the library in town. We've got some research to do' he replied.
'On my way' i finish, heading to the counter.***********************************
When i arrive at the library, i look around for a while struggling to find my brothers.
'Arya!' I hear Sam call and i jog over to where they are sat.
'I cant find anything!' Dean moaned in frustration.
'Let me try' Sam said, reaching for the mouse.
'I got it.' Dean replied bluntly.
Sam barges Dean's chair out of the way causing him to roll a few feet away from the desk.
'Dude!' He said hitting Sam on the shoulder.
'You're such a control freak' i laughed, whilst rolling my eyes.
Sam then continued to search stuff until he found a news article. I decided not to read it as i figured that one of them would read out the important parts.
'This was 1981. Constance Welch, twenty-four years old, jumps off Sylvania Bridge, drowns in the river.' Sam said scrolling through the article.
'Does it say why she did it?' I asked as i looked closely at the picture of her shown on the screen.
'Yeah, an hour before they found her, she called 911. Apparently her two little kids are in the bathtub. She leaves them alone for a minute, and when she comes back, they aren't breathing. Both die.'
More pictures pop up and i continue to stare at them.
'Our babies were gone, and Constance just couldn't bear it,' said husband Joseph Welch' Sam read off the computer.
'Look familiar?' I said as i point at a picture of the bridge we were on earlier.***********************************
It has grown darker outside and we are back at the bridge.
'So this is where Constance took the swan dive' Dean said as he shut off the car.
The boys got out, and i was about to follow until i saw a new message on my phone. Its from Dax, so I opened it.
"Hey Arya. Just letting you know that my sister is doing okay. The doctors want to run a couple more tests to be safe but she should be able to go home in a few days. They're gonna give her treatments to do at home. Im gonna stay a couple weeks so shes not alone. Speak to you soon. Love you x"
I replied to his message then hopped out the car, in time to see Dean grab Sam by his throat and push him aginst the railing of the bridge.
'Dean!' I yelled as i ran towards them.
'Dont talk about her like that' he lets go of Sam then walks away.
'You okay?' I asked, placing my hand on his arm.
Before he had a chance to answer, Dean piped up again.
'Guys..' he said slowly.
I turned, seeing Constance staring at us then falling down into the lake.
We all ran over and glared over the railing.
'Where'd she go?' I queried, staring out into the darkness.
'I dont know' Dean answered, just as confused.
Suddenly, the Impalas lights flashed on and the engine started running, illuminating the entire bridge.
'What the-' i said as i span around to see what was going on.
'Who's driving your car?' Sam questioned as he stared in confusion.
Dean reached his hand into his pocket and pulled out his keys, jingling them to get our attention. I looked at the keys, then to the car. The car jerked into motion and drove straight for us.
'Dean?' I panicked.
'Go! Go!' Sam shouted, causing all three of us to run.
'It's too fast!' I screamed.
As the car got slightly too close for comfort we all darted towards the railing and jumped over. I grabbed a part of the bridge then hooked my arm around so i didnt fall. Then, it went completely dark, and the roar of the engine stopped, drowning us in silence.
I pulled myself up, over the top of the railing and placed my feet back on the bridge, brushing myself off. I turned to see Sam doing the same. He walked over and brushed something off of my shoulder, breathing heavily. I turned to him.
'Where the hell is Dean?'
