I had finished putting everything away, and now my room was exactly how I wanted it. It was nearly one in the morning, and I was just laying on my bed and staring at the ceiling.

I let out a huge sigh, eventually getting up to get a glass of water.

Everything was so strange. I had been to Changkyun's apartment dozens and dozens of times in the past, but seeing now that I'm living in his place gave me an odd feeling.

I opened the cabinet that had cups in it and took it over to the sink to fill it up. I looked over to Changkyun's door, which was slightly opened. I could hear the loud clicking of his keyboard, knowing he was probably playing a game or coding something.

I went back to my own room and sat back down in the bed. I pulled my phone out and started scrolling through social media. Only a few moments passed when I heard a soft knock on my door.

"Ye?" I set my glass of water on my small bedside table.

Changkyun popped his head in the door, face nearly covered with a dark hoodie. "I didn't know you'd still be up,"

"I can't sleep," I shrugged. "But I usually stay up late anyways, so it's not a big problem,"

"Me too," Changkyun nodded. "I'm usually working on stuff super late,"

"What are you working on?" I asked.

"Just hacking into government files. I want to know what's really happening in Area 51," Changkyun came into the room, plopping down on my bed.

"Anything interesting yet?" I chuckled, playing along.

"No, just a bunch of weird documents about feces samples. Not interested in poop, to be honest," He sighed, laying back onto my bed. "I'm actually helping Minhyuk make a video game,"

"Really?" I tilted my head. "He codes and stuff?"

Changkyun let out a groan. "No! Do you know how hard it is to make a video game by yourself?"

"No, I don't,"

Changkyun kicked his legs in the air violently while he whined, "It's so hard!"

"Stop throwing a tantrum, you're going to kick me in the face!" I stuck an arm out, knocking one of his legs down.

"I've made really simple ones on my own, but even then they are quite difficult," He sighed, looking over to me.

"What kind of games did you make?"

"Dating simulators,"

I snorted, "No, really, what did you make?"

"Dating simulators! I just said that!" He widened his eyes.

I pressed my lips together, trying not to laugh. "What kind of dating simulator?"

Changkyun licked his bottom lip, turning his head away. "I don't want to say,"

"What was it, Changkyun?"

He rolled over, pressing his head into my mattress. I began jabbing him with my foot in his side, cuasing him to start squirming.

"That tickles!" He giggled, bring his face up from the bed.

"Tell me what you made a dating simulator about!" I scoffed.

Changkyun let out a sigh. "As long as you don't question it, okay?"

"I won't!"

"It's a Shinee dating simulator," He nearly whispered.

I put a hand over my mouth, stiffling a laugh. "Y-Yeah?"

"I told you not to question it!" He mumbled, burying his face into the comforter.

"I'm not!" I tried to hide the smile spreading on my face. "It sounds very lovely, Kyungie,"

"I just really like Shinee," He sat up. "I made it in high school,"

"Oh, wow," I blinked slowly. "Is it good?"

"It's great, actually, you'll have to play it sometime," He nodded, closing his eyes. "Only after you put the Shinee poster up in the bathroom,"

"I'm on it, captain!" I saluted him as he stood up.

"Anyways, I'm probably going to send the basic parts of Minhyuk's game to actual game developers that I debug for," Changkyun turned around. "His idea is too complicated for a boy who never sleeps,"

"Go sleep, Changkyun," I poked him in the thigh.

He smiled lightly. "Maybe I will. What time is your mom leaving tomorrow?"

"Around nine, I think," I looked over to my phone, thinking about the text Benjamin sent after our phone call.

"Wake me up when you get up, I'll go with you," He nodded slowly, walking over to the door.

"You don't have to," I called after him.

"Your mom loves me, I have to!" He grinned, slowly closibg the door behind him. Before it closed, he stuck his face between the crack. "Goodnight, sweet angel,"

"Get out of here, you butter bread,"
