I woke up to the loud sound of my alarm echoing through the room. I slowly opened my eyes, peeking around my unfamiliar room. My hand swatted over to my phone, quickly silencing the alarm.
I was so insanely pissed that my mom kicked me out, and in all reality I didn't want to see her leave. But, I knew I would regret it if I didn't see her off.
I took my comforter off of me and I slowly slid out of the cacoon of warmth. I rubbed my eyes as I stumbled towards my door, opening it and stomping over to Changkyun's room.
I opened the door, peeking my head in. His dark blue walls made his room seem incredibly dark, even though the light was shining through his window. His figure was curled up under his comforter, so I walked over to the edge of his bed.
I shoved his shoulder, "Changkyun, wake up!"
He didn't respond.
"Changkyun, you said you would go!"
He sighed, opening one eye. "I'm already awake, loser, your alarm has been going off for almost ten minutes!"
"Actually, five," I responded stubbornly. "Anyways, get up,"
"Alright, whatever, just get out," He motioned me away with his hand. "I'm not wearing pants,"
"Do you sleep naked?" My eyes widened as I took a couple steps back.
"No, but I am in my underwear, and I haven't worked out in a while so I'm chubby," He whined, sitting up slightly but still keeping his comforter on.
"Chubby my ass!" I rolled my eyes. "If you're chubby, what does that make me?"
"Well, your ass is pretty big-"
I immediately flicked him in the ear, only receiving a glare in return. "It's a good big! You have a good, big butt!"
"I still don't know if that's a good thing to hear, but whatever, I need to shower," I started walking towards the door, but turned my head towards Changkyun once again. "I've never showered here,"
"Oh, yeah," He started taking his covers off, only to motion me to leave the room. I rolled my eyes and went to my room to grab all the bathroom stuff I didn't find necessary to unpack yesterday.
I picked up my shampoo and conditioner, my face wash, and passively left my makeup on top of my dresser. I scurried out to the hallway, where Changkyun was lazily walking out of his room, now wearing a pair of sweatpants. He remained shirtless, however, and glared at me.
"Stop looking at my exposed flesh,"
"I'm scared of belly buttons, put that away,"
Changkyun began pulling his sweatpants up further, bringing them over his belly button. I snickered as he stepped past me and pointed at a closet door. "Here's where the towels are,"
I opened the door, but was disappointed to be met by only two towels. "You only have two?"
"If it makes you feel better, I only had one until you asked to move in," He gingerly ran his hand through his hair. "What, are you one of those weird people who needs four?"
I giggled, ignoring his last statement and focusing on the somewhat sweet one that left his mouth before that. "You really got a towel just for me?"
"Yeah, the fluffy blue one," He grabbed it, putting it on top of my head. "Mine is the orange one. If you touch it, you die,"
"I don't think I'd want to. I don't know what you use your towels for," I squinted at him before turning towards the bathroom.
"You have a point," He sighed as I flicked the bathroom light on. "I should probably buy some more so I don't seem like a cheap hotel when I have hot girls over,"
"I would never think of you as a cheap hotel, Changkyun, rather a musty bed and breakfast in downtown Manhattan,"
"I never said you were a hot girl, either, you twat,"
I blew him a kiss before closing the bathroom door and heading off towards the shower, only taking roughly three minutes to figure out how to turn the damn thing on.

Amazingly enough, Changkyun and I managed to get out of the apartment and over to the airport around twenty minutes before we even needed to be there. Changkyun, of course, said we should congratulate ourselves with over-priced airport coffee.
"Do you think I should get an iced Americano or some kind of latte?" Changkyun tapped his finger to his chin as we stood in line at the coffee shop.
"What are you in the mood for?"
"I don't really know," He sighed, using my shoulder as an arm rest. I rolled my eyes at how he had to lift himself up slightly due to our almost similar height, him only being a few inches taller than me.
"Get an Americano, I'll get a latte, then we can take sips of each others," I said as the line moved, us now being one away from the register.
Changkyun nodded at my compromise, and we finally made our way up to the register and ordered. The barista gave us a weird look when we said we were paying seperately, but swiped each of our cards and we went over to the side to wait.
"Did you see how she was, like, hurt that we paid for ourselves?" Changkyun whispered to me.
I nodded. "Funny how everyone thinks we're dating,"
Changkyun hummed in response, then grabbed my hand. "Why would anyone ever think such a thing?"
"Probably because you do shit like this?" I giggled, looking over at him.
"What? I can't express my love to my best friend through hand holds, arm grabs, and cuddles?" Changkyun acted fake shocked.
I laughed again. "I understand why people are confused, though. We're pretty clingy,"
"Yeah, but I also hate your guts,"
"The feeling is mutual," I reached up and pinched his nose, going to the counter to grab our drinks.
We exited the coffee shop, both switching drinks and trying the others. Changkyun sighed, taking another long sip of mine and complaining that he should have gotten the iced latte. I ignored his pouting fest, grabbed his arm, and led us through the crowds of people to get to the gate we needed to be at.
Finally, we made it to Gate B, where I led Changkyun over to a bench.
"I forget how needy you are," I whined, plopping down on the bench. Changkyun rolled his eyes.
"Have you met yourself? You're so needy," He chuckled. "You're way more needy than I am!"
"Oh yeah?" I raised an eyerbrow. "Name one time-"
"You moved into my apartment,"
I squinted at him. "That's not a good enough reason to call me needy,"
Changkyun thought for a second. "Oh! That one time we took a nap at my house, you insisted you had to sleep on the left side of the bed!"
"Well, yeah, that's my side,"
"No!" Changkyun groaned. "That's my side!"
"We can't both sleep on the left side," I stated.
"No shit, sherlock!"
I stopped him, snapping in his face before letting a giant smile grow on my face.
"Oh, I'm so curious, yeah!" I sang sarcastically at him, making him burst out into laughter.
"You can't use Shinee against me to win this fight!" Changkyun whined at me, trying to put down my arms as I half-assed Shinee's choreography.
"But it did distract you, right?"
"You're so fucking weird," He sighed, leaning back in his seat and taking a sip of his Americano.
