I went back to the car after walking the beach. I looked at my phone and it was 2:45 in the morning. I had missed calls from August and Isley. I got in the car and pulled off. My phone started ringing and it was August. I rolled my eyes and sent him to voicemail. I pulled up at the house and got out. I walked in the house and it's was quiet. The lights were off but i seen a light from me and august's room. I went upstairs and August was sitting on the bed. "Where you been?" He said getting up. "Out." I said walking into my closet. August came in the closet" Where is out?" He said. "Don't worry i wasn't cheating." I said taking my clothes off. "Kayla i'm not fucking playing with you. Where were you?" He yelled. I put on a long shirt and ankle socks" The beach." I said and walked out the closet. I put my hair in a messy bun and grabbed a blanket" Where you going?" He asked. " Ma what's going on?" Isley said coming in the room. "It's okay baby. Go back to bed." I said kissing her forehead. "Can you explain what happened today with aunt Khloe?" Isley asked. "I'll come in there in a minute." I said. "Okay, goodnight daddy." She said giving him a hug. "Goodnight babygirl." He said hugging her back. Isley left the room" I'm sleeping on the couch." I said. "No your not. If the kids see you on the couch they are going to think something up." He said. "I can just say i fell asleep on the couch." I said and walked out the room. I went to Isley room " Wassup Mija." I said sitting on her bed. "Ma just tell me." She said. "Khloe had cancer." I said. "Had. What do you mean had?" She said. "She beat the cancer but the last little bit let had to come out and that's why she was throwing up blood and stuff." I said. "So she going to be okay?" Isley said. "Yes she going to be okay." I said. "Ma?" Isley said looking worried. "Yes." I said. "Are you and dad getting a divorce?" She asked. "No baby. Why would you think that?" I asked her. "I heard Daddy yelling at you earlier today and then just now. And this is the first time i heard you guys argue for real." She said. "Listen me and your dad have been together before you were even thought of. Even when we would try to move on from each other something would happen and we would be right back with each other. We been married for 12 years about to 13 years after your birthday. I can't leave him even if i tried too. We are going to argue at times but then make up in no time. You don't worry your pretty little head off." I said. "Okay." she said smiling. "I love you mija." I said and kissed her forehead. "I love you too." She said. "Get some sleep." I said and left her room. I went back in me and august room. I sat on the bed "Isley just asked me if me and you are getting a divorce." I said. "What did you tell her?" He asked. "I told her me and your dad have been together before you were even thought of. Even when we would try to move on from each other something would happen and we would be right back with each other. We been married for 12 years about to 13 years after your birthday. I can't leave him even if i tried too. We are going to argue at times but then make up in no time." I said then looked at him. "i over reacted today but you have to see where i'm coming from." He said. "I do and i should of told you. I'm sorry." I said. "I'm sorry too." He said. He kissed him and went down to my neck " Don't start something you can't finish." I said laughing. "Who said i can't finish." He said. He got on top of me and was sucking on my neck. "August you know we can't give hickeys in places that are noticeable. We have nosey ass kids." I said. " You wear makeup." He said and started going down. Next Morning✨
I woke up to the smell of bacon. I looked over and August wasn't there. I got up and put on August shirt. I went downstairs and Isley was watching tv with Aj laying down on her. The Twins was on the other couch on their phones. "Goodmorning uglies." I said and kissed all of them. "Who you calling ugly?" Isaiah said. " All of yall." I said. "I look just like you so." Isley said. "You right but you still ugly." I said and laughed. Aj was just laying there with no emotion. " Aj after breakfast i'm going to take you somewhere. Just me and you." I said playing with his hair. " Okay." He said and laid on me. I rubbed his head "I love you." I whispered in his ear. "I love you too." He said. " I don't get no goodmorning or hey bae." August said cooking. I looked at him " I said goodmorning uglies. That meant you too." I said and everybody laughed. "That wasn't even funny." August said. We watched tv until August was done cooking. We all ate and everybody went back to their rooms. I went upstairs and brushed my teeth. I did my makeup and left my hair in a messy bun. I walked out the bathroom " Where you taking AJ?" August said. "Don't worry."I said walking into the closet. I put on basketball shorts with a tank top and slides. I walked out the closet and grabbed my phone and keys. "I'll be back." I said and walked out the room. "Aj you ready?" I said walking downstairs. "Yes." He said coming behind me. We walked out the house and got in the car. " Where we going?" AJ asked. "You'll see." I said and pulled off. The whole ride to where we were going was silent. I pulled up at the hospital and parked the car. AJ looked at me " Are we here to see my mom?" He asked. "Yes we are." I said. A big smile came across his face. "Now listen i need you to be prepared. She might be throwing up. I really don't want you to see her like that but i just want her to tell you what the doctor told her yesterday." I said. "Okay, i'm ready." He said. We got out he car and walked in the hospital. We went to her room and she was watching tv. We walked in and she looked at us" Aj." She said smiling. Aj ran to Khloe and hugged her. He started crying " Mommy are you okay?" He asked. "Yes baby." Khloe said. "Mommy i love you so much." He said and just cried in her arms. "I love you too baby." She said and let a tear fall. "I'll be back later. Let you guys have some time alone." I said. "Thank You Kayla." Khloe said. "No problem." I said and smiled. I know how it feels to lose your mom. No child should ever have to go through that. Seeing Khloe go through what she was going through and seeing Aj going through what he was made me think about my mom and dad. I really miss them both. I got in the car and just cried. "Dad i don't know if you can hear me but i miss you and if you around mommy let her know i miss her too." I said and pulled off. "I love you guys." I said and wiped my tears. I really miss them both.
