Later That Day
I woke up to yelling. I got up and went downstairs. August and Isley was arguing "You always put your career and music before us." Isley yelled. "Isley this not true." August said. "It is. You missed me and the twins birthdays for 3 years now and about to be a 4th. How do you think ma feels when you miss y'all anniversary. You say your going to fly her out there but then say you forgot and shit." She yelled. "Isley watch your mouth." I said. " Nahhh ma he needs to know. You forgot my birthday last year due to tour. I didn't get a call or text until the day after. Mom did get a happy anniversary or nothing AT ALL. And then you come home like everything is cool. Yeah i like that we live in a big house and have a lot of money and living the life but if having all that means my dad can't have family time with his family then i don't want it." She said and went upstairs. August looked at me" Is that how you feel?" He asked. I looked down at the floor "Whatever." He said and got up walking towards the door. "So your not going to try and fix it. You just going to walk out?" I said following him. "I didn't ask for this. This fame this life this family shit. I didn't want this shit but i got it." He said and then realized what he just said. " DID YOU REALLY JUST SAY THAT." I yelled. "I didn't-" I cut him off. " Nahh you meant what you said. You don't want this family shit then fine i'll take it away." I said and took off my wedding ring and threw it at him. I went upstairs " Isley, Isaiah and I'Aaliyah pack y'all clothes we leaving." I yelled walking in my room. I grabbed my suitcases and just threw my stuff in there. "Kay i'm sorry. I really didn't mean it. It just came out and i wasn't thinking." He said. I didn't say anything i just finished packing. I walked out the closet with my suitcases. I grabbed my stuff out the bathroom and put it in my mk backpack. I grabbed my keys and took the house key off. I threw it on the floor and went downstairs. I put all our stuff in the car and they got in. I had to go get my phone. I ran back upstairs and grabbed my phone. As i was walking out the door August grabbed my arm "Please Kay don't do this." He said. I looked at him " Move." I said. He looked at me and then moved. I walked out the house and got in the car. August came out "Baby please aleast just put you ring back on." He said coming to the car. " I don't know. I have somethings to think about." I said and sped off. "Where are me going?" Isaiah asked. " A hotel until i can find a place for us to stay." I said. Isley looked at me " Mommy i didn't cause this right?" She asked. I put my hand on her hand "No baby girl of course not." I said. She looked at the window. I hate to take them away from him but i got some things to thing about before i take the next step in any direction. I pulled up at the Hampton and parked the car"I'm going to get us a room. I'll be back." i said grabbing my wallet. I walked in and went to the front desk. "Hi welcome to Hampton Inn Suites. How may i help you today?" The lady said. " Hi um i need a room with 2 full size bed or a double joined room." I said. " Okay let me see what i have" She said typing on her computer. " I have a room with one king size bed and a double joined room." She said. " Okay i'll take the double joined room." i said giving her the credit card. I paid for the rooms and went back outside. I open the car "Come on." I said grabbing some of the bags. They got out grabbed their bags and walked in the hotel. We got to the rooms" Okay you are staying in this room. It's has 2 beds and a pull out couch if y'all don't want to share a bed. I'll be in the next room."I said walking in their room. They put there stuff down and sat on the bed" Mommy how long are we going to be away from daddy?" Isaiah asked. " You guys can go over there whenever. When school starts you guys will be going to your dads house after school." I said. "Okay." He said. "Y'all get some sleep okay. I love you all." I said. " Love you too mommy." The twins said laying down. "I love you ma." Isley said then laid down. I smiled and walked in my room. I went in the bathroom and filled the tub up with water. I put bubbles in it and got in. I sat in there and was thinking. I started to get tired and i got out. I looked through my suitcases and saw one of August's shirts. I smelled it and it smelled just like him. I put it on and laid down. I looked at my phone and it was a picture of me and August when we first started dating. A tear fell from my eye. I wiped it and locked my phone. I turned over and slowly fell asleep.
