When I got to the beach, I just walked while thinking. My phone started ringing and I looked at it. It was August face-timing me. I answered.
Auggie💛: You crying?
Kay💍: I went to see my mom today.
Auggie💛: What happen?
Kay💍: She told me and Kassie the truth about why she left.
Auggie💛: I know it a lot. It's crazy what she did. But did you forgive her?
Kay💍: I ran out so quick. It was just too much for me.
Auggie💛: You need to forgive her K. She was young when she had you and your sister. She didn't know what she was doing. She didn't have no help. You gotta give her thoses years she took care of y'all while your dad was getting high. She loves you and it's hurting her that you wouldn't give her a chance.
Kay💍: (a tear fell from my eye) fine I will try my best.
Auggie💛: that's better.
Kay💍: Thank you August.
Auggie💛: I'm your bestfriend. That's what I do.
Kay💍: i'll see you tomorrow.
Auggie💛: I love you K.
Kay💍: I love you too my love
Auggie💛: Your love ?
Kay💍: (i laughed)Bye August.
I hung up and smiled at the thought of August still being here and being my bestfriend. I walked a little more then I went to go get the kids from Britt's. I pulled up at Britt's house and got out. I knocked on the door and Isley answered "Hey Ma." she said walking to the couch. "Hey, where britt?"I asked. "She went to the store. She just lock the door with the spare key." Isley said getting her stuff. "Twins come on." I semi-yelled. They came from the kitchen. We all walked out the house. Isley locked the door and put the spare key back. We got in the car and drove home. We all walked in the house. "Isley can I talk to you in the kitchen?" I asked walking into the kitchen. The twins went upstairs and Isley followed me into the kitchen. "Wassup Ma." she said as we sat at the island in the middle of our kitchen. "I went to see my mom today." I said playing with my nails. "How did it go?" she asked. "She told me that the reason she left was because she almost killed me and Kassie in a house fire. She left us for some hours to get high and lost track of time. Once she knew we were okay and safe, she left." I said then a tear fell from my eye. "How do you feel about that ?" Isley said. "It hurts to know that my mother almost killed me and my sister. But from the time she got pregnant with kassie to the day of that fire. She always made sure me and Kassie was feed, had clothes and was sleeping good. My father didn't help at all until she left. He had to step up. I want to forgive her but I don't know how." I said as more tears fall. "You know how to forgive her. I just think you're not ready too. Which is fine because you just found out this information but you have to try ma." Isley said. I nodded "I know". Isley got up and hugged me "I love you ma." She said. "I love you too mija." I said hugging her back. "Alright time for my beauty sleep." She said walking out the kitchen. I laughed. I just went to my room and fell sleep.

Next Morning ☀️(Isley's 16 Bday)
I woke up and went to Isley's room. She was still sleep "WAKE UP BIRTHDAY GIRL." I SCREAMED. She jumped up "really mom." She said. "It's your birthday get up" I said jumping on her. "Ma" she said. "Get up." I said getting off her. "We need to go pick up your dress. Kassie is doing everything else. I'm just making sure your looking pretty." I said. "Ugh okay. I'll be ready in 10." She said getting up. I walked back into my room. I put on my pink bale shorts with a black hoodie and my nike slides. I put my hair in a messy bun. I grabbed my phone, wallet and keys. I walked downstairs and grabbed a apple juice out the refrigerator. Isley came downstairs looking just as bummy as me "yo twins we will be right back okay." i semi-yelled as me and Isley walked towards the door. "ight." i heard Isaiah say. Liyah didn't say anything means she still sleep. Me and Isley got in my car and drove to get her dress. We got her dress and finished last minute things. We went by the party to make sure everything was looking good. Isley stayed in the car I didn't want her to see it yet. After being out for 5 hours, it was time to get Isley ready. We got back to the house and my Emily was here. "Wassup Em" I said as I walked in the door. "Hey. There's the birthday girl. Happy Birthday Pookie." Emily said to Isley. "Thank you Titi." Isley said. "go up stairs and shower so I can start on your makeup and hair." I said as I walked upstairs with her dress. Isley went straight to her room and Emily followed me into my room. "Need me to do anything?" Emily asked. "Yes can you lay out all my makeup in thoses bags right there and plug up the straightener and my curler while I get in the shower." I said laying out Isley dress and shoes. "Yeah I got you. Anything else?" She said. "Help the twins get ready. I would start with Liyah cause she wants makeup and hair done too. Isaiah got his hair cut yesterday so he just got to get dress." I said taking my clothes off. "Okay." She said. "Em" i said before walking into the bathroom. "Yea." She said. "Thank you." I said. "No problem." She said smiling. I got in the shower and washed my hair and body. After I got out I put lotion on and my bra and panties. I put on my nike spandex and some ankle socks. I left my wet hair in my towel. Isley walked in my bathroom "I'm ready." she said. while I did my makeup and hair. Isley blew dry her hair and straighten it. I did her makeup and curled her hair. Then I helped her in her dress and put on her shoes. I put her crown on her head "You look so beautiful mija." I said smiling. "Don't cry ma." Isley said. "I'm not but I put waterproof makeup on just in case." I said and we both laughed. "go downstairs and take pictures while I get dressed." I said. Isley walked out the room. I put on my outfit(media). I walked downstairs and everyone was ready. We took some more pictures and then headed to the party.
